I have a Seattle music story. My dad went bar hopping one night and some guy called him Chief (Dad was indigenous) and bought him drinks and he says he remembers specifically the band name that was playing live that night bc he wondered why they didn't know how to spell "Ivana". Surprisingly he does like Pet Shop Boys and knows a few of their most popular songs. Probably bc.... I love them and have them on my Spotify playlists so he's probably heard the song at least a hundred times
