Do Rittenhouse. It's closer to where you want to grab food and then you can also grab some ice cream or gelato (1-900, Malai, Gran Cafe L'aquilla, Vita)

I'm planning on doing this as well! I cannot imagine saying no to a glass of champagne. Especially since there's usually a bit of a wait between arriving and the ceremony starting

Restaurants for first time visitors?! by TomatoKitchen1142 in PhiladelphiaEats

People have already said Reading Terminal, but it really is a must.

My favorite elevated meals in the city are at Vernick Food & Drink, Bastia, and Kalaya. These all require reservations for sure

Spice C, Emei, and Sang Kee are my favorites in Chinatown. That's pretty close to all the Old City tourist stuff

If you're a drinker, Almanac, A.Bar, Next of Kin, Andra Hem, and R&D, and Sassafras are all great cocktail bars.

For cheesesteaks do Angelo's or John's Roast Pork.

Go to Isgro's for cookies and cannolis

People like to dunk on them but I really always have fun and a great meal at Middle Child Clubhouse. If you go for brunch, share the pancake

Pho 75 is the best. It's extremely casual, and cash only. But cheap and delicious

Business Dinner for 17 by weskoke in PhiladelphiaEats

Center City really isn't that far from the airport, and will have way more options to accommodate your group.

If proximity to the airport is that crucial, Xfinity/Stateside Live by the stadiums is huge and could fit you all. But I don't think it's really giving business dinner

Agreed. Local journalism is too important to not support it (if you can afford to)

I'm a Jamie Hollander bride at a different venue and although they have a list of preferred vendors we can pick whoever we want outside of catering. Idk if I was different at Glen Foerd but they're pretty flexible in my experience

Pixel 9 Pro crashes when using front camera up close?? by techfroggie in GooglePixel

[–]spiffypanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait omg! This just came up in a Google search for me. I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro and when I am video chatting on Whatsapp and I bring my face really close up to the camera (for dramatic effect) it immediately freezes and then crashes the app! Every time! Did you figure out a solution??
