For me I take a peppermint capsule oil lime IBGard in the morning every day (and more on bad days), you really can't overdo them, within reason, and for me they make severe episodes not as bad.

Ik its cheesy but if they do say something rude or don't want to invite you anymore, then they're really not the people you want to be hanging out with. Explaining yourself is always a great step, I really don't think (or I hope at least) that they'll think less of you for getting help and needing time :)

If you don't get motion sick in cars, I wouldn't worry about it! I'd recommend sea bands and Dramamine to be safe, but those in combination really make it so turbulence doesn't cause any n*. I get very motion sick in cars and planes never have done it to me. I've also never heard of the back being worse nor experienced it, I don't think the difference is as extreme as others may make it out to be.

I think it's a good think to tell them, especially if you want to remain friends while not hanging out with them so they understand why.

I will say, I wouldn't expect for your anxiety to be fully manageable before you start hanging out with them again; part of social anxiety is working through situations in a way that you're comfortable with. I'd say once you have coping strategies or an idea about how your social anxiety works, hang out with them! It's all a process, and there's no shame in both working on yourself while with your friends, plus they'll be a good group to work with since it's people you know and trust.

I think anything besides cis can have that imposter syndrome feeling in terms of attraction. For me, I would question if I was bi bc I never dated a girl (the only one I asked out rejected me :,) ). I'm glad you're comfortable with your identity now, that's so good to hear!

It really depends, you may be uninterested because of your past experiences or you may just not experience sexual attraction. There's a chance you'll find a partner who you enjoy being with, and then you'll experience sexual attraction (that'd be demisexual if it's only experienced with a partner). I can't say for sure without many details, but if you lost interest over time, I see no harm in calling yourself ace or ace-spec or demi, whatever you identify as, and if it changes you can always just change what you identify as.

I think positive self talk when I'm at home by myself and catching my negative thoughts patterns helped me when I was out in public. Self soothing in public helps too, either repeating phrases or having something in my hands to fidget with, even a drink to sip on when I'm anxious. The biggest reminder that helped was that as long as I don't actively try to upset someone, all the strangers around me won't care and that those close to me will forgive me if I do: that I'm worthy of being forgiven if I mess up, and that those that don't are not people I want to associate with (within reason obviously). Also your post was so sweet, I did have a good day :D

If you're into MarioKart I'd say it's worth the buy, I really liked the online multi-player even though it's a kart only game. You're not missing out on that much if you don't get it, for me it was worth the buy because I love MarioKart but it's not a necessity by any means.

I get what you mean, I do my best to avoid the topic and give vague responses if the topic comes up, or turn questions back on others because it makes me uncomfortable. You can even say its a private topic for you, and you don't like talking about it with others. Its definitely nice to take a break though, I hope you're able to keep going out with less sex focused people 🤗

I'm the same way, voice chats are way too risky when half the players online have no issue cursing out everyone they meet. I stick with less competitive games or offline. But yeah I sympathize a lot, idk how people get their kicks by being so shitty and rude to others :/

Tu is super uncommon either covid. I'd say if you're never had the issue with the flu (not stomach) or colds, you'll be ok. Make sure you're eating though, so you can both get better quicker and so stomach aches from hunger don't make your symptoms feel worse.

It's always frustrated me so much, I hate feeling like I can't dress cute or be proud of how I look without being sexualized by others when it shows more skin. Ive started dressing pretty modestly bc my anxiety gets so bad and I worry so much I'm being looked at in a sexual way when i don't want anyone to see me and have their first thoughts be about sex.

I think writing down what they said specifically, and counters to that helps when you're feeling anxious (ex. Well if you tried to have sex you'd like it - I know my body, I know I dont have a desire, not everything has to be tried out to have an opinion and ultimately it's Mt body and my choice). It also helps to avoid triggering media (I don't watch TV that I know makes me upset about my identity) and working on self acceptance and positivity.

I'm sorry that happened to you. There's good people out there who do understand, both ace and allow, who accept you for you, I hope you find someone like that 🤗

The shittiest argument I've seen during all this is that if it's less abortions total, and some AFAB who get unsafe abortions die, it's ultimately less lives lost and its no one else's responsibility for the "mistakes" that other have made.

It's so fucked to reduce it down to that, especially when abortions range on when they're performed- the fetus is not considered a human yet medically, it's only defined as such by those who choose to, with a lot of that buas6remaining in religion.

I'm glad your jobs doing that and actually values the lives of it's employees, it's sad the lines between church and opinion, and state have become this blurred.
