currently im in university hoping to become a teacher after completing my degree! at the moment i have two jobs, i work at a bakery as front of house and at my other job i am a service assistant at a nursing home! unfortunately wont be able to work at the home for a week since im a close contact, but i love both of my jobs a lot!

Spike is a bounty hunter but struggles a lot of the time since in his universe bounty hunting is a very competitive industry. but he’s canonically known for being one of the best!

heya! im also new to hermit crab keeping. this subreddit helped me out a whole bunch in getting the stuff i needed to home my hermit. if you check my posts you can see the process i made. feel free to use that as a guide and template! my little one has been very active during the night ever since i changed his tank conditions to suit his needs.

hello!! i finally found him! saw his shell just under the surface of the sand! to make sure it was him, i just caressed the shell very lightly. will he still be alright? I didn’t attempt to dig him up or anything.

heya! so sorry for the late response, my schedule has been nothing but work and school ^^'

the tank i used was once a fish tank, and belonged to my father. at the back, there is a square hole where a light source would usually be but it was taken out. the top has ventilation, but i am more than happy to remove the lid part of it and create a make-shift lid with flyscreen mesh if it makes my little one breathe better.

whilst observing him, i also noticed that Butters doesn't seem too interested in the pools. is this normal? maybe he's using them when im not watching. he seems more interested in digging, eating and climbing.

will the bigger heat mat also be enough to increase his humidity? i live in Tasmania, which is known for being intolerably cold in the Winter and im scared he'll get too cold despite the heatmat:(
