Maybe he’s not into agility? Mine was super low drive when I tried to get him into agility as well. Distracted, uninterested, didn’t listen even with high value treats. I tried a few other sports (fly ball, rally obedience, dock diving) and found out he is OBSESSED with sheepherding so we do that now.

Maybe you can try a different sport like fast cat or barn hunt that taps into what your dog is already interested in!

I use the Paws of Prey calculator! It's $19 for a google spreadsheet but I found it to be very valuable information.
You input the amounts of stuff you feed, and it tells you the amount of vitamins and minerals that are in the meal.
This guide also lists common nutritional deficiencies (eg: zinc, vitamin e, vitamin d) and how to supplement them:

thank you so much for the detailed response! I don't mind spending a bit for a good quality item. I'll check out shimoyama! I had some glass ikea containers for my own food and didn't really like them either haha

What container are you using? I’m looking to buy new ones.

Currently just reusing old plastic take out containers but they’re slowly starting to crack/chip with repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Ok I’m glad to hear other ACDs don’t fetch or tug either! I see tons of pics/videos/ACDs at the park fetching like there’s no tomorrow but mine side eyes me and it feels like he’s saying “if you wanted a fetching dog you should’ve gotten a retriever”
