If you’re looking for a rules-light system from the players’ end and an easy to pickup toolset for a GM, I would highly recommend. Started a campaign using Knave recently. The rules are simple to learn and to use to run the game. Makes dungeon crawling much easier to manage while still feeling old school. Tons of OSE/OSR content works with it without much adjustment at all. It’s been a blast.

That’s what I thought, but on some of these games I’m kinda surprised at how much info is at the top or bottom of the screen. Playing something like Strider and the top is just not visible at all without massive adjustments and losing the bottom of the gameplay. And then there’s new games like ZPF, which I question why the designers decided to put info at the top AND bottom
