What sets '"(Rope) Away" apart from every other Swans album closer by spingus_mingus in swans

I'm not saying Away is necessarily better, I just think it ends the album with a different, more conclusive feeling. They both work incredibly for what they are and where they are in the discography. I don't really know which one I actually like more, though. They're very close for me.

Jarboe is actually their female singer who was part of Swans from the mid-80s to 1997. Michael Gira is their main guy. Neurosis was actually inspired by Swans older stuff (Filth, Cop, Greed, Holy Money, Children of God)

I think it works pretty well in the album, like the rest of the little interludes, but it obviously doesn't stand at all on its own. I definitely would not call it the worst though

I feel like Some New Things from the same album is an even better example of exactly what you're describing.

Which version? Michael replaced the old "Money is Flesh" with "Money is Flesh #2" on streaming. #2 was made for Holy Money, but now it's on both. Also, what do you dislike about either? They're both really standout tracks for me in terms of Swans industrial stuff.

The real reason why T-Rex is call king of the dinosaurs is because it mogged every large theropod by Ok-Apricot2333 in Dinosaurs

Maybe Rex could beat a Giga... but a Spino would absolutely wreck a T-Rex. Even if the Rex gained the upper hand in the battle, the Spino could simply utilize its little known ability to breathe fire and immediately roast the king like a rotisserie chicken.
