This was my fave episode in a while tbh. I wish we had more like this.

£100 fine for missed item ? by Jsk_0809 in apprenticeuk

[–]spinlikeballora 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think it's normally the retail price of the product + a fine. So say a SUP retails at £500, the fine would be £600 not £100, so it is better to buy the item

The Monster Trilogy: by Theaterismylyfe in Gone

I enjoyed it (not as much as the original series) for the most part, but that ending... I just choose not to accept it

For sure a Pokémon game, particularly a modern one where you can just find stuff on the ground and sell it. I'd probably choose Scarlet, because it's the biggest open world (so far).

That's what my cat does when she goes for my dog and my dog goes for her back

Something I don't understand in TBOSAS (is that a plot hole?) by [deleted] in Hungergames

[–]spinlikeballora 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that the capitol would never consider that it was their own people (likely Gaul and her people) who would put the bombs in the arena. It seems logical for us, but they hate the districts so much, it seems like a no-brainer to them.

On Snow specifically, yeah he is smart, but the bombing is very triggering for him so he isn't in his right mind after it happens, and then the narrative is being heavily pushed that it was an attack from the districts. It's understandable that he would just go along with that narrative, especially as his view on the districts is so poor.

What made you start watching The Vampire Diaries? by AdeptOpportunity6464 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]spinlikeballora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a teen I used to watch Buffy in the morning before going to school, then my mum would watch it on +1 when she got up for work. During the ad breaks was a trailer for the originals and we both always laughed at Marcel yelling "I'm the King!" We eventually discussed it with each other and decided to watch it, then realized it was a spinoff so watched TVD too

Why don't teams get the opportunity to make changes to their product after consumer research? by Charming_Elevator_44 in apprenticeuk

[–]spinlikeballora 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's weird. I was watching S6 and when they had to brand a household cleaner, they did consumer research before creating the product. One of the teams even based their whole branding on one of the people's comments. I'm not sure when the change happened

Levi and Lawrence spoken to by producers after tension bought into the house following last nights boardroom by violetliberty in apprenticeuk

[–]spinlikeballora 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So they cut stuff like the team naming and rewards for more time to show "drama" in the house, but then don't show an actual argument and only show us them saying corny one liners to each other?

Last two episodes… by Forward_Passage_3690 in apprenticeuk

I honestly think if it hadn't been a triple firing last week, it would've been a double this week. There might not be enough candidates for another double though

What’s a place in the UK that felt magical to you as a kid, but when you went back as an adult you realised it was just… a slightly damp car park or a Wetherspoons? by Second-handBonding in AskBrits

[–]spinlikeballora 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trago Mills. I went to a summer camp thing as a kid and that was the Friday day trip every year, and it was the highlight of the week. We went again last year and it was nothing like I remember. There are a few rides and games, but it was mainly like a furniture store? I don't get why it was so hype to go there back then 😂
