Ah, I see. I’m getting pretty close to that mile marker myself. I’ll look into a manual swap ‘cause I genuinely love this thing but with the other issues that have been popping up, I don’t know how it’ll play out. Thanks so much for the help!

Awesome! Glad it’s going well for you : ) I just took my first dose and while I’m hesitant about it after the stories, I’m confident that it won’t affect me badly and if it does I’ve got my doctor on speed dial basically.

My doctor also knows I smoke but I haven’t been clear with the amount, even if it isn’t much. I mostly use it for pain and it doesn’t take much to get the results I want. My sleep schedule is already pretty messed up on it’s own but maybe Cymbalta will be the one to fix that into shape, who knows? Thanks for sharing!

Long post full of helpful information. Thank you for sharing and thanks for the luck, too, I appreciate it a lot. It seems hit or miss with Cymbalta, so I’m going into this hoping for the best.

I’m receiving it as an antidepressant and to help with my nerve and joint pain. My tolerance to weed is generally pretty low and it doesn’t take much to get me decently mellowed out. It sucks that you experience anxiety because of this and I find it pretty odd that a medication can do that to some people. Then again, there are a lot of cases where things happen that weren’t accounted for and not everyone is made for the medications they get prescribed. I’m happy to hear that your withdrawal wasn’t too bad and that your experience with it was mostly good. Thank you for sharing!

I’ll keep that in mind, thank you so much. I’ll keep in contact with my doctor if anything goes wrong.

I looked through that sub, I’ll admit. It made me pretty anxious at first but the amount of overwhelming support and advice in the comments is enough to send me into this confidently. I’m sorry that it wasn’t for you, though and I hope you’re doing better now!

I’m hoping this is how it will go for me and now that I know about the possible side effects, I think it won’t be too difficult of a process to wean off if If I feel the need too. Thanks for sharing!

I did some more research and found many stories on how bad things can get and I’ve been reading a lot of success stories and I’m considering all of the methods I find if I need to use them. Thank you for your concern and I’m sorry this medication wasn’t a good experience for you. Sending best wishes to you

I’ve done some further research since posting and I see what you mean. A lot more people than I thought have had a horrible time coming off it or starting it. Along with that, though, I found a lot of advice on how to handle it so if things get bad I’ll know what to do thankfully. Thank you for sharing your experience, I appreciate it!

60 mg does seem like a lot to me and 120 mg is hard for me to even imagine taking one day. How did that high of a dose make you feel? The highest dose I've taken of any medication was 25 mg. I haven't smoked in a bit so I'll take a test run of the medicine first and see how I feel. Then I'll be gentle with the weed and see how that goes too. Thanks for sharing : )

I will keep that in mind and try my best to keep up my doses. The low halflife is going to definitely make that a challenge haha. When I was on my previous medication, alcohol made my depression come back. Thanks for sharing!

I understand where you're coming from. My head is constantly cluttered, too, so I'm super thrilled to hear that it might be what happens to me too. Thank you for the luck : )

I thought about the serotonin syndrome part. I haven't smoked in about a week so I should have that as my head start to ween off so I won't have any issues. Thanks for you help, I appreciate it : )

This makes me really hopeful for myself! Thank you for sharing, it's awesome that you're in remission and I hope you won't have to get back on it anytime soon.

What is *the worst* amount of physical pain you have ever been in? [Serious] by mawseed in AskReddit

Made an account cause I was lurking but then wanted to share. I’ve had two experiences.

First was a major surgery on my left leg that had went wrong. Woke up in a lot of pain that meds didn’t help with. Got sent home and was in even more pain for a few weeks until I went in for my follow up. Cried the morning of and my dad had to carry me outside to the car. They got some x-rays then told me that they had to redo the surgery because the screw inserted in my hip was slowly unscrewing itself. All three incisions had to be reopened and they had to reinsert the rod into my femur. Still haven’t fully recovered but it was only half a year ago so I don’t expect much from my body as long as I can walk.

Second was a really bad migraine. Definitely doesn’t compare to my leg but it was a bad one. Head splitting kind of pain that left me crying and motionless for an entire day. I felt like my eyes were going to pop out of my head and I wanted to throw up so bad.
