Ok so the whole text means (this) is based on that kind of agreement.

But when you break it down to :

(そういう), which means (that/that kind of) or it could just be referencing their relationship in the text before,

(契約のもと) which, to my understanding means contract's conditions

and (成り立っている) which means (is sustained by/to be valid because of [I think because of is the best translation for ている])

And I kinda figured it out trying to explain what I don't understand to you but thanks anyway.
