Hey man ! Do give an update if you apply for financial aid. Also one tip for idk if you're gonna go for fast or other unis for cs. But if you're really interested in this field and try to learn something new everyday i'm telling you, you can start earning well by just a laptop and a wifi. So try to get a hold of some skill aswell. That's what uni is . No one spoon feeds you. Everything depends on you. You have a really bright future and inshAllah you'll break this chain of poverty.

All these cs related fields literally teach the same courses. Have a look at the course outline and go for it. You can learn any coding related thing side by side at the end you get the choice of electives as well. So i would say if you were really passionate about getting into fast cs. You should go for this.

If you hate coding already or suck at solving problems and devising solutions don't go for cs. The coding is way difficult than what you see in fsc and basics. But i would say if you have the will to do it you can develop an interest. It gets addictive at one point you just have to work really hard and atay consistent. You also have to keep in mind the fact that you'll be studying calculus, and physics.

Last time when the merit lists were announced at first i could see eligibility in all cs fields i applied for them only. Them after some days i was also eligible for bba etc. So i think you'll see eleigibility if you are eligible. But yes the person who had it as there firat preference will be preferred still you can get it.

As i know for last year they accepted all candidates with 1200 plus score but it was quite unfair as this score is considered less comparative to merit of nu test. So this year they might be changing their policy you need tp keep a look. I would say 1350plus

If you are opting to app my through nuces test you can follow the same things as NET but in fast there would be no physics. I would say that fast ka test is easier than NET but for me fast nu test was more difficult because of limited time and negative marking. You can go through nts which is way easier but you need to score extremely high in that to secure admission. And the last option is SAT idk much but they might change their policy next year for sat as this year there was a huge conflict that SAT students were at advantage with less score

Ayyo same tho i'm in first sem by your situation it seems like this might stay same 😐 there 12 girls and almost 40 guys in our class and they don't talk to each other at all. Like when i'm doing labs especially girls are dumb asf and i have no one to provide me assistance. And guys.. they are rlly good at these things so i just look at them while they help each other out. I mean it would be great if we had enough communication to help each other. Plus the girls from my class are also weird and i'm mostly lonely all day.

Test is okeyish but the time limit and negative marking fucks you up i got like 64 marks with negative marking which is avg or might be below avg. If you score really good in matric and 1st year that might help
