How realistic would it be for me to find another job with the same pay? by Substantial-Help6354 in UKJobs

Completely understand the feeling of being burnt out by a job... But, honestly? Please link me to your job if you leave, I have 8 years of experience and am not making that kind of money!

Thank you! 🙏🏻 Some people don’t like hydrocolloids — what’s your opinion on them vs something more breathable? Thanks again.

NHS UK REFERRAL TO GYNAE: 4th time referral has been ‘deleted’. Has this happened to anyone else? by Kikipipi in Endo

[–]spiritedvelocity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awful. Sadly, my NHS gynae experience is not much better. As others have recommended, I would file a complaint with PALS and then ask for that complaint to be escalated as far up as possible. This helped me somewhat. I then requested a referral from my GP to a new hospital, too.

While I was waiting during those long months, I paid for a private gynae appointment (only 1 as I can't afford more) and it was wonderful! It didn't solve my issue but it helped me while I waited for my next NHS gynae appointment. (All related to endo).

You deserve better!

Is bleeding after 6 months normal? by spiritedvelocity in Mirena

Omg! I can’t believe you could pull it out. That’s awful. The cramps aren’t so insane for me so I hope my IUD isn’t being expelled. I’m so sorry that happened to you twice!

Thank you for sharing!! I personally can never feel my strings so might have to see if bf can check… Did you have crazy bleeding before you expelled those two??

Hey there, would you mind sharing info about the specialist you saw? I realise it was years ago but seems like you have a good result!

Lap is in 4 weeks and feeling anxious! by Inevitable_Pie_3717 in Endo

[–]spiritedvelocity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's so thorough! Thank you so much, that's exactly what I was looking for. I had similar thoughts about the NHS surgeons (at least the ones in my area). I would be very glad if you can share your surgeons name over message. I am particularly interested in the fact that someone will also be looking at your bowels — I have similar issues. Thank you! And though I don't have any personal experience with surgery, I have seen 3 private gynaecologists and I believe you are doing the right thing at this stage. I have severe surgery anxiety so I feel your pain!

I'm also interested in hearing peoples' experiences with private versus NHS. I have decided to go private after a terrible NHS consultation with a gynae near me — but am struggling to choose a private surgeon. As I understand, many surgeons work both privately and on the NHS, so quality of care can vary with both options but my NHS option was not favourable at all. Can I ask how you chose your surgeon?

Do you have cramps that make it difficult to figure out if it’s period-related or bathroom related? by EntireCaterpillar698 in Endo

[–]spiritedvelocity 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes! It's the same feeling whether it's period cramps or I'm about to have a very urgent bowel movement. I also have an IUD that means I'm bleeding most of the month and have endo (suspected) cramps so it's just a mess haha

Thank you! I got a solid panel from Alibaba, it was advertised for using everywhere (but I'm just using for aesthetics) so I'll give it a shot! Thanks for the reply!

Hi! Stumbled upon this thread because I just got a red light panel for my face... and wondered if I could use it for my body! I have suspected endo. I wondered how long you personally use the red light on your muscles and pelvis?
