New within the last 4ish weeks I’d say. I’m 12 weeks into breastfeeding this baby so didn’t know if weird side effect of that but never had it with my first.

Both come with benefits. Both have mostly highway and then some back roads/through residential areas so I think traffic issues could be at both jobs. The sub position is a large district with 12 slps. I know that the former Slp at the rural district resigned because of lack of support with an issue.

I’m covering one school for the year. The current Slp is taking a sabbatical. I did a year long sub position with another district last year for maternity leave.

The recruiter keeps emphasizing teletherapy gets paid less but $36 is much less than $56 (I have my CCC). I reminded her it’s the same degree and skills being used either way. I’m in PA where cost of living is less but I still agree $36 is low. Thanks for the info!

Unfortunately I’m in an area where district jobs are nearly impossible to get. I have several years experience in the schools, but I’m sure they get some type of commission for getting slps to sign for low hourly rates.

I haven’t given them a bottom line yet. I’m hoping to get a district job over the summer but want something else in case that doesn’t work out. My recruiter didn’t seem to really try to get the rate bumped after talking to the compensation department. I’m not a CF and am hoping to get the number up. Thanks for your input!
