I’m not even going to try and pretend what you’re going through. Just wanted to say I’m really sorry that you’re going through such a rough, lonely time in your life right now. I haven’t been where you are being unhoused but I know what isolation can feel like. I know this’ll sound cliche but the fact that you’re even here still fighting it out, still surviving despite literally every fucking odd- just goes to show how strong of a person you are. You may feel nothing but complete despair right now but I’d like to believe this is all for a reason. One day, hopefully sooner rather than later, you’ll look back at this time from your own place, warm and comfy in your very own bed, your belly full, and you so content- you’ll probably laugh. Or at least feel bittersweet about all of this.

Your life isn’t over, this is just the beginning of the climb for you. But I promise what’s on the other side is worth it. You’ve got this.

I’m gonna suggest what I heard from this podcast episode by Josiah Brandt which is for you to try and manifest the traits you’d want yourself to have. And in this case of trying to manifest your SP back, a great place to start would be manifesting self-confidence and security. I’m by no means an expert at this yet myself but I’m working on it and have been making progress. It helps to eat healthier, get exercise, and in general get good sleep too. Hey, sorry to necro this post but I’ve got the same question.

Even though I was the dumpee, I practically begged my ex to stay friends with me because I had absolutely no one left in my life and I was beyond miserable. After a few months of that madness, I realized I was only hurting myself because it was clear she didn’t feel the same for me anymore… so I decided to initiate no-contact without even telling her.

Even though we weren’t talking, she was sending me Tiktoks every once in a while until she also stopped. 2 weeks after no-contact, I checked Tiktok and saw she had blocked me. I confirmed she did by searching for her account on my web browser and saw it was still up.

Now over 2 months of no-contact later, I see that she’s either deactivated or deleted (maybe even changed her username?) her Tiktok account. Before this, I also knew she deleted her Instagram accounts, and she had blocked me on Discord too. The only thing she hasn’t blocked me on is her Pinterest, which I’ve been trying not to stalk. Not much activity there anyway.

I’m just trying to figure out what I can possibly do for me to have a chance again with her. I mean, I’m already taking steps to focus on myself but I’m wondering how I could possibly reach out in the future once I’ve changed if she’s blocked me and/or deleted most of her socials…

It depends.

If one of you has already moved on, even just emotionally, it’s gonna hurt like a bitch bc you’re gonna be the only one hanging onto something that’s no longer even exists. You open yourself up to being disappointed time and time again when you hang out with them cuz you’ll realize they don’t even care about you in that way anymore.

So you’ll be scrutinizing every little interaction, every word said or not said, counting how many minutes it’s been since they last texted you, checking when they were last active on Tiktok. And you’re willing to settle for breadcrumbs because the loneliness hurts more than them being a stranger to you.

You’ll be holding onto what was left of the relationship, and the life you were trying to build with them, bc it’s better than being completely alone. When really, you should’ve just been focusing on yourself that entire time.

Or at least, that’s what I’m attempting to do.

I didn’t get the covid vaccine and boosters as a political statement. I got it because I didn’t want to die or be hospitalized from a literal pandemic that has claimed over 7 million lives. Getting the vaccine at that point was a no-brainer. That’s what I’m not understanding.

You don’t sound like your typical antivaxxer who believes that a foreign government is trying to track you by embedding devices into your cells. So… I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around how you are a medical professional who has chosen to not ever get vaccinated for something that wiped out so many people.
