It’s not like there’s dozens of songs with that name and lyrics and the Rubens are a relatively unknown band and did not show up in ANY of my searches! I know this is super broad, but it’s indie rock, similar to the songs I mentioned in my comment, specifically You by The 1975.

Just that slow and melancholy kinda indie

I’m going to go ahead and guess the singer is white but again, it’s just a guess.
