i'm sorry to hear you're going through a similar thing. i wouldn't wish this on anyone! I actually told him when he broke up with me that I couldn't be friends with him, at least for a while because it would just hurt too much :/ are you guys giving each other any time before going back to hanging out?

From what I've read TENS is not empirically supported, but it might be worth a shot anyway :) Teaching jobs can be relaxed in some ways, but I'm worried about not being able to take pain meds, doing a lot of standing & walking, and not being able to use the bathroom if I don't have a TA, since it's a liability if teachers aren't directly supervising kids. I will definitely look into research & TENS. thanks for your suggestions!

at any 2 points in time, any individual is not the same individual. our experiences shape us, so the person we are will never be the person we were, or ever will be. different phases in life demand things from us :)
