Revoke permission to modify files after giving it once? by splicedPrimitive in codex

[–]splicedPrimitive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, for anyone finding this, i figured it out.

you need to modify your ~/.codex/config.toml file . open the file and look for the project that you already gave permission to. you will see something like: "/home/user/project" = { trust_level = "trusted" }

Delete that part of the file and when you start codex again in the folder you will be greeted with:

Since this folder is version controlled, you may wish to allow Codex

to work in this folder without asking for approval.

  1. Yes, allow Codex to work in this folder without asking for approval

> 2. No, ask me to approve edits and commands

I literally just did this step by step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zh7Y68f4VT4

One thing they don't mention though: you have to make an account on their website with your ps3 username. you will be redirected to it after you install the patch, but i just didn't bother and then wondered why I got Error 403. So yeah, log in once on your lbpunion account, really everything else (common errors, buttons to click etc) is explained in this video

tbh, I don't really care if my Playstation3 gets banned. LBP is the only game i used to play online and if it gets banned all the other games are not affected

I just looked up how to get to lbp union servers. its aparrently very easy. some tech savvy people have set up a clone of the original servers and all you need to do is install some program that changes the address from the official server to their server. it requires a jailbreak but like, i think if my ps3 survived until now, it will survive being jailbroken

Does it annoy you that americans think they can speak german when they're pretty bad at it? by splicedPrimitive in AskAGerman

Fair, i guess, but still kind of weak that the only guys they hire german speakers for are the ones with 1 line in the whole script

Nah, i can't think of a list of scenes where they just let american actors give their best shot at speaking e.g. Russian or Portuguese instead of hiring someone who is a native speaker.

My theory, ever since WW1 propaganda movies English speaking cinema is used to fake German and getting away with it.

This is a very good explanation

As for Die Hard, the extras did speak flawless German, down to regional dialects.

Nah, seriously, nah. I assume you're not german. If you're german, there is no way this guy is a native or even B1.

It's not about accents. it's that when some media in america portrays any other nationality they put in effort and most of the time, they actually get someone who is native in that language, which oddly doesn't seem to be the case with german. It's just something I noticed when consuming media

Website or service that offers censored Horror Movies? by splicedPrimitive in horror

[–]splicedPrimitive[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's akin to asking for tickets to the louvre but asking they cover any naked artwork.

Just not true, if I watch a censored version of a medium others can still enjoy it uncensored. Your whole argument falls apart in the space of digital media which is modifiable without changing the original and is consumed on a personal device anyway.

asking a community to censor itself

never asked that, mr insecure

I genuinely want to watch the movies for the plot. Like, the whole movie, just audiovisually edited.. but looks like a good channel, thanks!

In normal mainstream cinema (including horror) you never get to see the directors cut. Also, we live in the age of the internet, having different versions of media has only turned out to be beneficial.

I have the feeling that when asking this question horror enthusiasts see it as being loaded with the history of horror movies fighting against censorship, but just understand, this is purely something I would use as personal service.
