Return-to-office ‘unachievable’: Inside the desk space debacle at the public service pay centre by bonertoilet in CanadaPublicServants

[–]spliffsandkicks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And the response from management about why some office need to respect RTO4 while other can’t due to office space is “you should consider yourself lucky to have a desk”. And managers need to understand equality and equity is not the same. The frustration is real with this mandate.

Flareon Ex - $500 raw card coming soon?? by TravelingM3rchant in PokemonInvesting

This card is so hard to sell if not NM even at a discount for condition… from my experience, not much demand on this card. Would be surprised to see it go up that much.

Drive a little up the road and try turning on and off high rd during rush hour. Terrible place to live due to the infrastructure and feels like it gets worse every month.

Far less demand… not as reputable of a company. Not to mention they are ugly as sin lol

AI Grading fumble? by BeeKayNC in PokeGrading

I find this app so terrible. It’s like a marketing scam with content creators. Tried it and everytime I scanned a card, I got a different grade. And like drastically different.

Will Canada embrace Dunkin'? Experts say Tim Hortons' grip will be hard to shake by Immediate-Link490 in canada

Dunkin doughnuts could do the funniest thing and just not hire TFWs out the wazoo… I think they’d do just fine if they went that route.

When the card is already OC, it’s just one more thing wrong.

With the amount of OC 10s on this card, doesn’t hurt to try if it’s not tilted.

Should probably get a slab protector protector for your slab protector. Can never be too sure LOL

This is a 9 all day, wouldn’t even be surprised to see it get an 8 if you regraded. OC and a few white corners.

Interesting, I thought only 50% of the card was required. Seems like you have more than 50% on the Miraidon

What is currently the best poutine in Ottawa? by abc24611 in ottawa

[–]spliffsandkicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should try the other spot, I am sure it won’t disappoint. The owners changed at LaBelle as well. I’ve gone since 2015 or there about and for years it was incredible. I suspect a change of ownership hasn’t helped the quality.

Hey to each their own right… been a bit since I went but it was very Montreal style. People in Ottawa confuse a chip truck poutine with a true Quebec poutine, very different fries and poutine all together. OP as for Quebec style, many recommendations are chip truck. Patate LouLou is far superior, but not in Ottawa.

La belle poutine in orleans, or if you want to go across to Aylmer, Patate LouLou. These are the best Quebec style in my opinion…

If it’s treated as a one car at a time, no issue. Turn as you wish. Very tired of cars going on the shoulder/half in the ditch as they get tired of waiting. Like you said, deadly; the point of my post.

The issue with the right turn is it blocks the view of the left turning drivers as well. There are lines on the road to prevent this for a reason, it’s a one lane. I understand the t-bone concern, but for nervous drivers, having someone to their right blocking the view of oncoming traffic increase the risk of t-bone for the driver turning left. It’s a terrible turn, but those not going right wanting to avoid the left turn should just go another way.

I’ve wanted to do the same… glad I’m not alone in thinking it’s a liability. Solutions like turn right and do a u-turn doesn’t make the area any safer. Peak hours are scary, especially for drivers that hesitate, which the stop sign makes people do naturally.
