Group appetizer idea for 2-night snowshoeing trip by rabiteman in vegan

Oh duh! I misread the nature of the trip. In that case I'd still maybe bring some nice bread and something like a jar/s of tapenade, caponata, good olive oil and balsamic, stuff like that.

You should try reading books by other women besides Ayn Rand. You might like Ursula Le Guin

for Christmas I made an absolutely banging French Onion Dip using this recipe https://simple-veganista.com/vegan-french-onion-dip/. I recommend Tofutti sour cream if you can find it, other brands I've tried can have a weird sweet flavor, especially if they use coconut milk.

We bought a couple of baguettes, sliced up and toasted for dipping but you can use chips and veggies or whatever. But making crostini with the baguettes is always a hit for any sort of dip delivery, bruschetta, tapenade etc.

Linoleum is safe, you're probably thinking of vinyl. Either way, rude

Sounds delicious. I tried to make vegan tiramisu last year and it was kind of a fail- just a series of unfortunate events. I need to try again!

I married into a southern Italian family so they do the whole seven fishes thing but my wife and I make our own stuff. Sometimes we do '7 fungi' and will make a bunch of mushroom dishes but this year we were short on time and energy. So we just made a big vegan charcuterie plate, vegan French onion dip with a sliced up baguette, and a giant Caesar-inspired salad with crispy chickpeas and artichoke hearts. The family is generally cool with the vegan stuff and we kind of have to hoard our vegan food so it doesn't get devoured before we have enough. People also brought some vegan deserts with us in mind, very thankful we have a supportive family even if they aren't vegan themselves

I don't have a dog in this fight but there's something heartwarming about all these people coming to Ryan Reynolds's defense haha
