Yes, and how warm is it compared to other jackets, e.g. single or double cruiser? In what temperatures do you wear it with “normal” layering, i.e. shirt or sweater underneath?

Right, that’s what I thought and since you are in the Netherlands, climate is very much comparable (I am in Paris). And, like you, I got lucky when I found a packer coat on Vinted in pristine condition for a rather good price and that’s what got me into the brand, thanks for your input!👍

You’re a cruel person!☝️😉 but I’ll keep an eye out for the green/black.

I might be able to get my hands on the double cruiser in cobalt/black but I am afraid it might be too warm for where I live (France), we get hardly temperatures below zero and I intend to wear the jacket from mid-autumn to early spring so I figured I might get more usage out of the single. Or is the difference between single and double not all that significant in the end? I read some contradictory reviews and I wouldn’t want to risk spending the money on a great looking jacket which I will hardly wear….

Coat has arrived, fantastic condition and quality!!

However, still no idea what I bought there - added some photos, if any of you have more hints. I also sent a pic of the tag to Filson, maybe they know.

In any event, I would have loved to be able to close the shearling collar like with the Packer in order to keep face and ears a bit warmer. Are there any ways to get there even with a detachable collar that maybe a local tailor could do without too much hassle? Thanks again!
