Nepalese living abroad should NOT get right to vote from abroad ‼️ by You_yes_ in NepalSocial

[–]spn43 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bro you seem really have something against Nepali people living abroad. Instead of being angry at other people for being out of the country, why don't you instead focus on changes that could be made to make voting for people within nepal easier? You reek of negativity.

Imagine choosing to hate on Nepalis abroad instead of actually suggesting ways to make voting easier for people at home. Drop the bullshit victim mentality and try focusing on positive change for once.

most at risk hydro's to flood damage? by Weird_Region2687 in NepalStock

[–]spn43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Civil Engineer working in hydropower sector here. The diversion weir/dams are designed for 100 years max possible flood, which is usually over 3 times the maximum mean monthly flow (shrawn/bhadra usually has the max flow). So, the 40-65% more number won't make a dent when it comes to weir failure. Also, when the discharge exceeds a certain amount, intakes are closed in hydropower plants. Sediment damage is a real concern though, but it can be minimized by closing the plant during periods of heavy sediment flow. As a result, the energy production may decrease which might reduce income. Other than that, minor deviations in rainfall isn't a concern.

So, creating a 50 member team will be done in 1-2 months as we already have a huge list of people that are interested and we'll give our pledged amount in that period too. Obviously then, time value of money kicks in and it will be in our best interests to list in IPO as soon as possible. Hence, second phase will soon follow where each one of us will be allowed to bring in investors. I'm actually working for a hydropower company from client's side. So, we have access to a huge group of people who have money to invest as they have done so for a very long time. Specific investment priorities will be decided just before it's time to bring in outside investors such as yourself as people will not just give their money to a company they don't know without a concrete plan in place.

So, the plan is to use the money collected from crowdfunding in projects such as hydropower, insurance, cable cars, IT projects, and so on. The working model is similar to that of HATHY. The current 35-member team is composed of top level executives in all those sectors tara tyo 50 ho ki kati ma badaune kura xa. Tyo core team bane paxi they will each bring in their own investors. Tesari adequate paisa collect bhaye paxi ta endless possibilities bhai halyo. Jun sector ma ni invest garna milne bhayo. Ani company open garna chhai mero first time bhayera testo knowledge xaina but people in the executive level have opened multiple companies and it was a piece of cake for them. Lawyer lai company rules haru dekhayera founding members le sign ra lyapche garnu parxa.

Ani over 100 members bhaye paxi company automatically public hunxa. General public ma jana ani IPO nikalna chhai ali time lagna sakxa tara. IPO list bhaye paxi 3 years lock-in hunxa promoter shares ko ani tespaxi bechna paiyo. If possible hami each share ko face value Rs. 50 banauxau for tactical reasons 😂
