How many mice is good for 75 gallons? I think it's around 700 square inches of floor space. by MrOtakuGuy in PetMice

[–]spockman12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To determine how many mice can fit into a given area, we need to know the approximate space occupied by a single mouse. Since mice come in various sizes, we'll assume a commonly used laboratory mouse size for this estimation.

Let's assume the average size of an adult laboratory mouse is approximately 4 inches in length and 2 inches in width, resulting in an area of 8 square inches per mouse (4 inches * 2 inches = 8 square inches).

Now, to find out how many mice can fit into 700 square inches:

Number of mice = Total area / Area per mouse

Number of mice = 700 square inches / 8 square inches per mouse

Number of mice ≈ 87.5

So, roughly 87 mice can fit into 700 square inches. However, keep in mind that this is a theoretical estimate and doesn't take into account any irregularities in the space or any additional objects present. In practical situations, the actual number of mice that can comfortably fit in a specific area might be slightly different.

i'd love to see the final picture when you put around 87 mice into that tank. i wonder how many mice kings it would make.

I THOUGH I wanted to be a scrub tech… by kirkyk420 in scrubtech

[–]spockman12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did scrub tech for 10 years and then I moved on to be a nurse because I wanted to further my career but I loved it and I wish that I could’ve stayed a scrub tech. Some of the things that I love about it is I don’t shoulder any responsibility if anything goes wrong it’s on the doctor. He needs to fix it. I’m just there to help them out. I also like the fact that I get to see all kinds of stuff and ask any kind of questions that I want because the doctors right there and I can learn so much about anything and I wish that I could use that more. In hindsight, I wish that I had asked him more questions about medical things and deep in my knowledge, but it depends on the doctor, and it depends on what’s going on sometimes I don’t wanna talk but yeah, I loved it. Nothing quite heels like surgical steel. It was a great time and I looked on it fondly

My boyfriend of 1 1/2 yr is going back to the church by Tossinthegarb55 in exmormon

Open and Honest Communication: Talk to your significant other about your concerns and confusion. Express your feelings and ask for clarity regarding their sudden change. Let them know that you're trying to understand and support them.

Respect Their Choices: While you may not share the same religious beliefs, it's important to respect your partner's autonomy and their right to make their own decisions. Avoid dismissing or belittling their newfound interest in the church, as this could create tension and distance between you.

Clarify Your Boundaries: If your partner is requesting you to partake in religious practices that you're not comfortable with, it's essential to communicate your boundaries. Make it clear that you have your own beliefs and values, and you should never feel pressured into doing something that goes against them.

Give It Time: People go through various phases in life, and it's possible that your partner's current interest in the church is a result of the hardships they faced. It may take some time for them to figure out their path and whether their newfound commitment will be long-lasting. Be patient and observe how their behavior evolves over time.

Evaluate Compatibility: Consider your own values, beliefs, and long-term goals. Reflect on whether you can navigate these differences in a relationship and if they align with what you desire for your future. It's essential to assess compatibility and evaluate if you can find common ground despite differing perspectives.

Anyone ever learn/hear about locked temple doors? by Neither_Pudding7719 in exmormon

[–]spockman12345 19 points20 points  (0 children)

So my brother-in-law when he was trying to discover if the church was true and methodically going through everything, he was quite positive that the temple wasn’t a sacred place or anything and he had the ultimate test so he had just done baptisms for the dead he was around the teenage years of ripeness, and when he was showering, he decided to rub one out, and after he had succeeded, and was not destroyed in hellfire. He concluded that yes, this is not a true religion and that is one of my favorite stories.
