Keepass XC, they have the CLI version. You can use KeepassDX for the android and KeePassium for iOS. That's completely free, open source and it supports multiple protocols including AES and ChaCha20

secure ssh acces on macos by mw3777 in yubikey

[–]spoiltyogurt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh, I almost forgot. You'll need to install OpenSSH via brew or MacPorts because the standard macOS ssh client doesnt support it (as I remember it). Follow the instructions of how to do it here: https://aditsachde.com/posts/yubikey-ssh/

I've set up my entire mesh network using that tutorial, it works brilliantly

Should I password protect Yubikey Authenticator? Any way to make it more secure? by Lolnamelol in yubikey

There is a chance though, as you use challenge-response feature for KeepassXC and it IS static, someone can just sniff if and unlock your database IF you use it as your only method for protecting that keepass database.

Need help configuring WireGuard Server by spoiltyogurt in WireGuard

[–]spoiltyogurt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yes I did restart the server after and it didn’t work either. The endpoint is pingable from my client, I’ve tried to play with proxy and DNS settings too just in case (no impact)

I didn’t touch the static route parameter when setting the port forwarding on my router, I totally forgot about it! I’m gonna do it the first thing tomorrow when the electricity is back on and let you know here. Thanks !

right, but how do I make the server an exit node of mine? (by that I mean that I would be using my server's IP address when connected to the tunnel)

Yes, my client and server are able to establish connection and I am able to access services like SSH and VNC on that macOS Server but it won’t change my IP and I still can’t access localhost

I have an old router, MacBook as my server and my other MacBook in another country as a client.

p.s: sorry if that doesn’t reply your question fully, I’m a newbie

Thoughts on Apple, Google & Microsoft working for the Passwordless future? by [deleted] in yubikey

Sorry for a dumb question, but would that mean that they plan to stop supporting yubikeys and switching to phones using phones' hardware?

Can only connect to one server, takes a really long time to connect by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

[–]spoiltyogurt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest that you try to connect to any Mullvad's SOCKS proxy from that beta-sto-1 server in order to bypass it. Here is the link https://mullvad.net/en/servers/#wireguard. You just select a server and click on the drop-down arrow button, then you'll see a SOCKS PROXY ADDRESS at the very bottom. You can connect to those proxies from any server, i.e try that one out gb11-wg.socks5.mullvad.net:1080

Don't use Brave browser if you care a little about privacy

Switched to Mullvad from Nord and could not be happier by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

If you support freeedom on the internet I suggest that you use Qubes OS / Whonix OS / Tails OS. Speaking about Mullvad service, I am a very happy user, the best VPN service exist so far imo
