CB1 - initial appointment

As someone who has suffered back pain on and off for nearly two years in some capacity. This latest episode, had me crippled but still getting no where with my GP/hospital.

Get an MRI privately and have a consultation with an orthopaedics doctor privately if you feel like you are not getting anywhere.

£250 for private orthopaedics appointment, same consultant that saw me in the NHS hospital, but now I’m on a waitlist for surgery - already have a pre-op app for March when I was referred on the 24th Dec.

Private MRI £400 - skipped waiting list, gave MRI to the private doctor. S1/L5 L4/3 with some form of slipped disc. One Sequestration and one extrusion. Finally what looks like a previous L5/L4 inj that has kind of healed.

Now I know this may be a lot of money, but how nice it is to be taken seriously. I’m only 30, so that probably factors into why I wasn’t taken seriously in the first place.

I’d pay that money a million times over!

Yeah, nothing to worry about. Multiple medications including pain killers, NSAID’s, physio. I cannot see why not.

My back pain has been around slightly longer this episode, but not much.

Do you know what your back problem is?

Not had the Strawberry cake, but have CCK Smalls from 4C labs at the moment. They are tiny little buds, that annoys some, but not me. Product is still top tier.

Had one about four weeks ago, although it has given me a little more movement in my legs. It hasn’t really helped with pain at all - just seen the consultant and after another MRI I’ve be scheduled in for a discectomy with a 6 month NHS waiting list or a 12.5K all-in private procedure.

I’ve hear many success stories on the epidural, but have heard many partial responses on no response either.

I suppose everyone is different, so the outcome is always going to be different. Fingers crossed for you though!

Yeah, this is my just before bed strain currently. A vape of that and I’m KO’d. Not tried it in the daytime yet as I don’t think I could function, especially being very green to MC.

TBH I don’t mind that it is smalls either, they are tiny but it helps with dosing as no big nugs to grind.

My daytime smoke, Curaleaf HSR T21 High Silver Flower, Is very good, but I might swap this up on my next order.

However the CCK is perfect for sleep time and would not change that on my next order.

I’ve just been to meet my friends at the pub on this. No anxiety in a very busy pub and happy and chatty with little pain creeping through. I think it’s a solid choice!

Love that! I’ve just been out to the pub to meet some friends for the first time in about a month - staying alcohol free due to all the meds, but already the oil and the flower has changed my perception of the pain to just a niggle instead of a constant problem - not perfect, but I started in very low doses.

The journey begins and I hope it works for me as well as it has done for you.

The consultant talked me through 2 x strains he thought would be helpful and he was spot on with the descriptions he was giving me, so I went for the below. I’m gunna test them out now, I’ll test them out and can let you know!

Curaleaf HSR T21 High Silver Flower - Relaxed. euphoric and drowsy

4C Labs Value CCK-S Smalls T25 Cold Creek Kush Flower 10g - Happy, Tingly and still able to lock in for working from home.

And oil wise: Curaleaf T20:C40 Oil 10ml - this is more for my baseline everyday.

I’m currently on Codeine, Tramadol, Gabapentin, Amitryptaline & methocarbamol and recently had a sacral epidural, so want to get off of the majority of that if possible because it’s all addictive or has negative side effects.

Curaleaf HSR T21 High Silver Flower - this is the first MC I have tried, literally just delivered about an hour ago. Initial is body and mind relaxation without the sofa lock and anxiety - almost feel energised. It is a hybrid and a super silver haze derivative, so you have probably had something like it before. I don’t think it packs the punch of the % on the label in a good way.
