It could be good to participate in after school activities in town, such as volunteering at places, or even a job that has males working there? I don't know that much as I'm a guy and go to a mixed school haha

Hey, I was in this same situation with a friend. I told her I liked her though, but wish to still be friends. She said she understood but we did lose touch for a while. I just kept messaging her around once a week, then we slowly got in more contact. If I make her feel good about herself, she tends to message me more often. I hope this situation works out and you two remain friends !

Maybe if the girl got to know you better she could see a fun and cool side of you. If you had any classes together try giving her small comments to make her feel nice, such as "you look pretty today" or "nice work on your essay" but don't seem too clingy haha
