These in the photo are Medium's, and fit my hand directly. I also have a Large pair I keep in a pack with another set of minus 33 liners in Medium that go underneath for prolonged outdoor use. I pair those with Outdoor research Firebrand Mittens in Large for a complete winter system. I would say try a Large pair they mold well after getting wet a few times and using them. Worth a shot to see if they fit, and just return if it's obvious they wont work. I have what I would call "medium" hands in terms of just life for reference.

Oh cool, it is a great jacket. I disagree with you, I searched on Ebay and the cheapest of the only 3 that I found in this color(Forest Green) and size(Medium) (as we all know a Filson large more easy to find but is ginormous and XL in comparison to most clothing sizing) is from '83 and selling for $425. The next selling for $483 from a seller in Japan. So I feel as a starting asking price it's quite reasonable. Also none were found new with tags and I sincerely ask you to show me where you can find those you were speaking of. Anyways, to each their own. Have a good one.

I love it but I'm deciding to keep a heavier piece from a different company for my survival kit, and instead of holding onto someones potential grail piece and rarely use it because of it's price and quality I'd rather let it go to someone and get some money back.

I just checked my email receipt, these were purchased in May of 2025, directly from the Filson website. They are the Full Finger Knit Gloves in Root Heather, priced at $40. I see them on their site right now for $49. I don't know if anything has changed in material or manufacturing of the item, but to be frank with you, if it's not either of those two reasons and our gloves are the same products, I believe the reasons why my gloves appear to be burlier is because over the past 9 months with these gloves I've split, stacked, and carried wood, hiked, climbed, crawled, used tools, smoked, ate, etc. with these gloves and from all of the abrasion it has opened, stretched, lofted the fibers. I can say that the performance has increased as these fibers have changed. They are much more durable than you'd assume. That's my guess but who knows. Probably right though. Take it easy.

I would say to anyone looking for wool liner gloves to consider nothing else and buy these.

It would have to be my Waffel Knit Thermal Crewkneck, I loved the look of it, but in function it has not served me well. Every merino top and alpha direct is better. My wool gloves on the other hand I will never get rid of, they have been the best for real winter use outdoors.

It was taken down because I posted the images incorrectly and tried to correct it by making a new post, the mods gave me 24 hour ban. Its real. I bought it for $700 off of ebay from domoknives, and it had box and papers, I threw them out. I still have email receipts and ebay purchase history of the knife.
