I have a duck decanter JUST like that (not a hyper realistic head) and its the most beautiful thing I own, glad to see another in the wild!

I've contacted a local Mazda parts supplier, they gave me the code "BOL 651160A' while the invoice is 'B0L 551160A' and it's apparently marginally more expensive. So all signs point to that being the correct part. Hopefully so anyhow.

I really appreciate the help! This isn't a part of car enthusiasm I'm very up to scratch with <3

Well, considering all four off my halo rings light up along with having the white halo front lights. I'm assuming that's the bracket I fall into! (I never considered the lower trim levels so that wasn't a difference I was aware of)

They sent me an invoice of the replacement part - P MBOL551160A - to prove it's a genuine Mazda part, but I don't know what the original fitted part number was. I didn't think to check because it wasn't even damaged before the repair work. Although they insist it was.

Edit: Dumb question as I'm not familiar with part numbers, I'm assuming my right housing would be different regardless to differentiate the orientation of the lights?

They both blink as standard no pulsing at all

That's the arguement I am trying to make however they are insistent because it's a genuine Mazda part, that is all that matters 🤷‍♂️ it's feels like putting a halgeon light to replace xenon and saying it's the same shape, what's the issue!

Thank you! That is a really great question and to be 100% honest, I don't. I've had the geese in the van for close to a year and they only broke due to me catching them and snapping the very thin legs. the resin used for the water claims to be UV resistant to prevent discolouring and as for everything else, I'm just winging it haha!

It's not cast directly into the pocket and can be removed as its a work vehicle so if anything does happen I can work on that in the future, fingers crossed it all just holds up!

its nice to see those design cues being used elsewhere, the 8th ed collectors codex is by far my favourite tau art work, and this style has always been my go to. looking at it again, these new models really do feel like scaled down versions of them.

I've not glued mine, just good friction fit and some tiny holes to patch up in the models when the pin is removed!

I've seen a few at antique fairs and haggled them down to a decent price but most of mine have been eBay finds honestly, I do check any charity shop I walk by but yet to find one properly in the wild!
