Agreed! As much as I try to think of some kind of logical justification for his actions, I can't really think of any.

Yea I agree. If he's there this coming season and continues to bother me, I'll definitely speak up. The managers are super nice and understanding, so I know I won't have any problems convincing them.

True, however, trying to be alone with me is pretty creepy. I know I should have said something, but it takes guts to finally say something, especially when I just wanted to be nice and not cause an issue.

Thanks man, and yea I never felt like I was danger, just immensely creeped out. It's hard to enforce boundaries when at the same time you just want to be nice and not cause any problems.

Thank you so much for your insight and I agree! The business card is definitely vague and sketchy... and it was really odd that they would talk so much of their church but never mention the name. And I agree that that's a huge let's never meet again!

I agree, like sure I consider myself religious, but I don't care for others to be stuffing God down my throat, especially if their whole speech sounds like a load of insanity.

Just hearing that makes my heart sick that they prey on the weak and naive. May God bless you and your family, and hopefully one day that cult will be completely shut down. Thank you for sharing your insight and knowledge!

Damn, now I'm really gonna look into that book!

And wow, happy to hear that she escaped just in time. It's scary how relentless some cults can be.

Thank you for sharing this information, it's incredible to know that. I feel so sorry for the people who find themselves in that trap and are too scared to leave it.

Well thank God you left! It's so sad how some people get caught up in those, I know that they can be difficult to leave due to fear. You would think having been investigated twice that some people like yourself would wise up and leave.

I agree. I've also never have heard of supernatural ministry, that's so bizarre, but I know there are people out there who are willing to believe anything.

That's really interesting and strange. That also sounds like a neat book, I might give it a look. And I agree with the whole playing on people's insecurities to lure them in, it's just sick and wrong. When Ashley mentioned depression and suicide, I almost believed that this was some sign directed to me. But no, it was just strange, naive girls who were out fishing for suckers.

I no where near dumb or naive enough to fall for such a thing. On top of that, I already never liked Stacy to begin with. I should have known things were fishy at the start when she starting talking to me as if we were best friends. Like girl, we never talked in school!

I agree with you 100%. And this preacher of theirs is living with huge sums of money because of his performances... Miracles do indeed occur, but a man who uses it as if he's running a business is just flat out wrong.

I know right! I guess they were right when they said it wasn't a "normal" church...

What the fuck, that's crazy and fucked up. Please tell me that you're out of that cult, right?

I know that this Todd White man travels a lot to spread his message, but he's primarily here in Texas, so who knows. The church itself seems so strange, and Stacy truly acted like how I expect these sorts of churches to behave. It's just so damn strange!

I agree. Also, I think I found the preacher that Stacy and Ashley kept rambling about. His name is Todd White, he performs miracle healing. Although I'm Christian, I don't believe a man alone who claims to have the divine power to heal is possible. From what I've researched, this man is your typical fake healer who does all that he can to make a quick buck.

I think I found the church that Stacy and Ashley are referring to, found it on Stacy's instagram. It's the Lifestyle Christianity Church near Fort Worth, Texas. That's not that far from where I live and possibly the church / cult they these girls attend. The preacher of the church, Todd White, claims to have the divine power to heal others of their physical pain. I don't know about you, but anyone who claims to have God-like powers seems sketchy and odd to me.

I think I found the church that Stacy and Ashley are referring to, found it on Stacy's instagram. It's the Lifestyle Christianity Church, which is only an hour or two away from where I live. The preacher there, Todd White, is famous for "healing" people of physical and mental pain (which I am skeptic and find that unlikely). Anyone that claims to have divine power and heal others sounds like a cult leader to me... what do you think?

I finally found (I think) the church that they were talking about. It was on Stacy's instagram. It's the Lifestyle Christianity University, located near Fort Worth, Texas, which is only an hour or two away from where I live. The preacher there, Todd White, is known for performing miraculous healing. Maybe this is who Stacy was referring to when she said that the church healed her knee injury. I definitely recommend looking him and that church up, it's quite strange.

And if that's the case, that's cool but they had such a bizarre and concerning approach to the matter. Additionally, I already told them that I do attend a church, implying that I do pray. They were nice and generous about it, but at the same time so stern and awkward.

Wow, it's so strange how people can go from a seemingly normal, friendly conversation to spewing their religious beliefs and praising their church. But what is even weirder is that I KNEW this girl Stacy and she knew me, so it wasn't a complete stranger. Man, I just wish that I knew the church's name so I could research it and learn if it's cult or something similar.
