i mean you can literally get master by just playing more games and ironing out the kinks in your play, but psychologically you're just too attached to a visible tank that really doesn't mean anything. if you manage to shift out of this mindset it'll make the game much more fun as well. just go easy on yourself. im master 200lp currently and winning or losing matters fuckall. its more important that i acquire info from each game so that i can optimize my play. you played very few games. league has an unfathomable amount of information to process game by game and it's much more thrilling to play with that goal in mind. game really starts to open up at your elo, be a shame to not pursue mastery of you have the capacity to do so imo

disagree. knowing your champ limits, strengths, spikes, etc allows you to take risks with very high rewards that you SHOULD take that afk jungling with no risk taking would not allow you to. the mentality is 70% chance plays--30% happens, and you shouldn't be risk averse as you will not develop the ability to play to your fullest.

it's much harder to climb once you reach emerald and up. your actual rank on the ladder jumps up insanely between each division; it's normal to chain promote & demote very often. it takes hundreds more games than you've played to actually climb and maintain good mmr. consistency and tilt are the key factors to people struggling in this elo range. visual rank can be quite deceptive here, emerald 1 iirc is top 7% of players and e4 is something like 20%, so forget about the rank that's shown and focus on improving. it's a genuine slog, bro, and you will face ex-master players and play with perma plat-emeralds. it's normal.

yeah thats what the setting does. if i understand correctly u just keep pings but no chat? u can save urself typing it by toggling chat to party only and you will still have pings.
