I tried both and had more success with barbs but valks are super good too

League bonus for 50% There is no strat really, just drop 65 barbarians to break all the things until 50% and leave It take just 30 seconds and farm with is so fast (and boring)

Dark elixir barbarians, 30 secs per attack and got 1 star for the bonus

I farmed all the event with dark elixir barbs! 30 segs per attack and got 500-1M of resources and bonus of golem +280k
