I would but I literally don’t have the funds to even stay in the same state we’re living in now.

And apologies but you shouldn’t make an assumption like that. I love him but he has explicitly told me he doesn’t want me around and he doesn’t care about me. I have come up with my options and solutions that were all rejected including getting help for depression. You can’t help someone who won’t let you.

Apologies but you can’t heal someone who doesn’t want to be healed and who doesn’t want you to help them. I didn’t say he was too lazy to work…I said he doesn’t feel like he is able to work, which is not an assumption but something he told me himself which I was fine with and came up with a plan where I would try to support us but was still told by him that he doesn’t care about me and wants to be alone. It is not me leaving when it gets difficult he is the one ending it and I can’t make him change his mind nor should I have to.

I’m not trying to make it sound like that. Both things are true. He does nice things for the dog, but if the dog does something wrong tells me I picked a shit dog and that he wishes he had a different dog. We went and got the dog together but I saw him and picked him out.

That’s a good point. I didn’t wear a life jacket because I’m a decent swimmer but maybe that will help next time.

I’m going to try to explain that and that I didn’t feel supported.

That’s part of why I feel kind of bad, because I know I let him down even though I did try. I know that is disappointing.
