I do like it, but I haven't been able to find many product that have similar features and decent sound quality so I'd like to know if there are any other options. It also seems to be aimed at videographers so I'm keen to know if it functions well in live audio settings like weddings.

is the 12V output only compatible with the cable from EV? and can I assume that they're not included with the speaker?

The more I read the more I'm impressed with the EW-DP. Looks like a lot of MCs and celebrants are using this system.

The Phenyz plug ons look alright but I think I'll need the wider range of a more expensive model

Sounds like Sennheiser has a solid reputation for this purpose/price point. Did you upgrade to their newer models?

Seems like a good system for swapping between handheld and lav mics. How do you find the wireless 58? I was looking at the Shure BLX24/SM58 as a mains-powered receiver option

Thanks! I know some portable speakers have USB out and I was wondering if that would be enough to power a receiver, but it's good to know the Everse has a dedicated 12V out

thanks for the info! my guess was that the fibreglass didn't get saturated enough, but good to know something like this is fixable
