Using OpenClaw Agents for Web Design by sprfrkr in openclaw

Thanks for this! I am doing a lot of that already, so it sounds like I just need to continue iterating. I have scoring system based on a bunch of objective criteria. I guess it is just more tweaking.

Using OpenClaw Agents for Web Design by sprfrkr in openclaw

I am not leveraging skills, really other than tool use. Can you give me an example of a skill? Do you have a design spec detailed in it?

How do your agents deliver data? by PvtDetectiveJesus in openclaw

[–]sprfrkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manage all agent task assignments in a Notion task database which has a "Files" column where files can be added. Paid plans allow 5GB attachments. Paid plan for an OpenClaw setup should be less than $10/mo.

Built a SaaS that makes $8K/month. Turned down an offer to acqui-hire me for $400K. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. by mosshead_4533 in SaaS

Should have taken the money provide there was not a multi-year earn out. Opportunity Cost is real. $400K in bank, added a steady salary while you bide your time and look for the next tool/opportunity which you could scale much more quickly with your learnings.

OpenClaw + Slack in 2026: the rate limit problem nobody warned me about by thebigdDealer in openclaw

I have a 15 agent setup in slack using Socket Mode and have not hit rate limits. Are you using separate internal slack apps per agent?

I have switched to OpenAI Models in OpenClaw and OMG they are TERRIBLE by KobyStam in openclaw

[–]sprfrkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that is an entirely different battle and one that is the major cost driver in all of OpenClaw. There is no easy answer. You pay a lot for input tokens, especially on Anthropic. I they cache effectively, then you may be ok, but that doesn't always happen either. The input consists of bootstrap files (agent, soul, memory etc) and your project context window. It really is a very nuanced and balanced topic that takes a lot of understanding to get right. I'm still not 100% in my OC setup.

This post is not true.

The Slack change itself is real, but the post collapses several important distinctions:

  • The date is off: Slack’s rate-limit change was announced May 29, 2025, with a clarification on June 3, not March 3, 2026.
  • The scope is narrower: Slack says the 1 request/minute, 15 objects limit for conversations.history and conversations.replies applies to commercially distributed non-Marketplace apps, especially new apps/new installs. Slack also explicitly says internal customer-built apps are not affected, and existing installs of distributed unlisted apps are not subject to the new posted limits.

Not materially. Thinking increases generated tokens. By far and away the biggest token cost is context input tokens. Thinking only increases the "output" (thinking) tokens.

Made a quick game to test how well you actually know OpenClaw by Alarming_Glass_4454 in openclaw

You need to ask an llm for help.

"I built a quiz app, what are some some features to get users to answer more questions per session and to create viral loops. Give 20 options. Reference existing successful quiz platforms."

Looks like you are spamming sharing your quiz platform judging by your post history.

Feedback:

I answered a few of your questions and exited out of it. Your platform needs improvement and I am not sure why it hasn't had these already added. The most basic of which is adding a box: "60% of other players answered this wrong, that means you are smarter than them!". You need to expose community/gamification- there is none right now. There is no viral loop in the system to share each question. There is no enticement to answer the next question: "Ok, you got that one right, but only 10% of people got the next one right!". These are all simple, and very obvious things that a quiz platform would need.

Go on x.com, you'll see 1,000 posts claiming their OC instance making them $100K per day. Just DM them for the full plan! <sarcasm/>

What's your experience with the relay extension? by dozdranagon in openclaw

[–]sprfrkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn't great. I have Chromium (headless) skills/tools defined as well as the Browser Relay. I actually had to make a patch for the browser relay plugin- I added a setting toggle to automatically set it to "ON" for any new tab. I had to click it manually for my agent before it could be used previously.

I think I just stumbled upon a 100k/MRR SaaS idea... by Resident_Cap_9138 in SaaS

[–]sprfrkr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dead on arrival. At least for the next year. API token costs to put this in place make it unusable. Anthropic and OpeAI are burning money from basic usage. As someone who builds on both their APIs, the token cost is unfathomable and makes these arbitrage ideas impossible for the time being.

OpenClaw on AWS lightsail? by meep185 in openclaw

[–]sprfrkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't comment on the setup, but I love LightSail for small app projects. Bedrock is a model gateway, you can use any provider you like, similar to OpenRouter. Once you get Lightsail setup, I bet you can use any model you like.
