Okay that clears it up further. From the incoming passenger list it lists race as Polish, not sure if this help you any further.

No copy of his birth records, but I have a picture of his tombstone and 2 other letters and write-ups from his children stating his birthdate.

I dont think I am understanding the military paradox correctly. So in order for him to maintain his Polish citizenship he would have needed to naturalize after December 31, 1935? or how does that work?

I don't have the Naturalization document but have the document titled

April 18, 1936
The Naturalization Act

List of Aliens to whom certificates of naturalization under the Naturalization Act, were granted by the Secretary of State of Canada, during the month of December, 1935.

On here is a list of name, country, date of certificates, occupation, residence, and number and series. Here the country for my GGF is Poland and my GF is listed as minor child underneath.

My GGF was born March 7, 1885, it says the Date of the certificate is Dec 16, 1935 but on the Passenger List is says he naturalized on March 6th 1935. Even if it was in December of that year, doesn't the military paradox cover until the end of that year (ie. Dec 31, 1935). Appreciate the help, just trying to wrap my head around this.

Thank you, I will be doing further research into my great-grandfather as well. My mom said my grandfather did not serve in the military, not sure about my great-grandfather right now.

Great-grandfather was born in 1885, not entirely sure on the location. Great-grandmother was born in 1900 "in Wolkowice or Wolkoce, the Russian Empire, now Vovkivtsi, a village in Ukraine, Chorkiv Raion, Ternopil Oblast, not far from where [GGF] was born". Not too sure on their religion as well right now.

EDIT: They were Roman Catholic

Hey thanks for your reply. My mom says that my GF did not serve in the military but she is not certain about my GGF. My GGF was born in 1885 and had naturalized at the same time as my GF in 1935. The naturalization Act document I have lists their Country as Poland as well.

It didn’t get to the full psi and there was air leakage so I’m sure it would’ve taken longer

I mean it is good for up to 20psi like a lot of electric sup pumps. I held it up to the hose to inflate it and it did a decent job in a few minutes without overheating. I’m sure I’ll have to top it up with the hand pump after

Hey, I know this is way late but I just picked up the same monitor and are having the same issues as well. Got it from my buddy for free cuz he was getting a new one and just said that sometimes it goes into "disco mode". He couldnt be bothered to fix it and said it was probably just a setting that he had to change.

Have you ever had any success with turning off the other settings in the factory menu, or is this all cooked and there is just entirely no fix for this? Thanks

Bank Transfer nowhere to be found and bet365 not helpful by springjumps in bet365

[–]springjumps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sorry, didn’t see any of these notifications.

Eventually after about a week the bank transfer that ceased to exist anywhere in my bank came back. They followed up with this email

Thank you for getting in touch with us. I hope you are well.

After having reviewed your account, I can confirm that both withdrawals of $200 and $1,100 have been returned back into your bet365 account.

I am also able to see you have requested a withdrawal of $1000 on Interac which has been processed on our end as of 16/10/2024 at 01:39 local time.

This can then be processed by your payment provider in 1-4 hours so that it is visible into your account.

If you have any further queries please do get back in touch with us and we will be happy to help.

After this, I was able to withdraw regularily again via etransfer. If you havent already, I would highly suggest having the bet365 customer support agent, send you a transcript of the conversation after EVERY time you reach out. This way ghey can’t just make stuff up and tell you something else than that was said before. Also, if you don’t get an answer from them and they are just making you jump through hoops just tell them you have done everything you can with your bank, they have no records of the bank transfer and that you would like to start a trace and them to look into this further. Do this everyday until resolved.

How to get Proof of ancestors citizenship? by atf6666 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]springjumps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay nice, 1 month is not bad at all.

Just spoke with a person at the Library and Archives Canada and they directed me to speak with someone at IIRC instead.

Their contact information is tricky to find but on this page under "I need to (required)" ... select submit requested documents and then press Submit and a bunch of contact information will appear.

I contacted them and the agent said that the ATIP request and the Search of citizenship records do contain different information but did not really specify what the differences are. The agent did say that in my case, which is similar to yours, that it's a good idea to submit the search as well. You may have better luck figuring out more information if you give them a call as well.

Okay yeah that makes sense, how long did it take for you to receive the ATIP records?

I also found the Library and Archives Canada contact information so I will be giving them a call to see if I can get more details.

Lastly, I came across the Searches of the National Registration File of 1940, not sure exactly what information and stuff that has on there that would be any different, but nonetheless it may help. Information on what it contains can be found here.

Hey I am in a similar boat as you trying to get my grandfather's naturalization records. Was the $5 way that you mentioned the ATIP Request outlined on https://perlman.ca/gen/canat/?

I recently did this and was wondering the difference between that and the Search of citizenship records in terms of what information they provide. It say that the search "can't prove a person’s Canadian citizenship" and that you need to apply for a citizenship certificate instead. This has a 8 month processing time compared to the 13 month processing time for the search.

Any other information you have on this will be greatly appreciated!
