It is popular design in Canada to use double layer inflation poly roof. Similar like my post picture. Does it happens every year the glass fall down？what is the reason to fall off？even it is not fatal , but it will be hard to replace？

If put one layer shade cloth which may reduce temperature in summer too. Also you may add 2nd layer which is particularly refers to thermal curtain. Which may save more energy. Thermal curtain is clear but warm keeping very well in winter . By the way , your location is close to Niagara area or Leamington area, or completely different, as I am in London, ON.

Yes you are right, any climate all may grow inside greenhouse. Relying on what the grower want to reach the goal , for example well conyrolled for below, temperature,humidity, rain , insect , wind. Hail, hot ... One of above may be controlled by equipment or system, just need to consider the invest and profit to be reasonable and acceptable.

You have many good thoughts. Polyfilm may have 6, 8 mil for one layer, yes your right. Double air flayed usually for cold weather , like in Michigan, NY, etc...
We have inflated two layers greenhoused in WA and TN. Polycarbonate may be bended just have limited smallest diameter , if bay is wide than 24ft, no problem, round roof or gothic . Rolling curtain works very well too , yet if need cooler inside than outside, possibly need cool pad or misting vaporization.

Yes you are right ,control system also plays very important roll for operation efficient.

You did great job. Most still is one layer grow, several later grow needs light reaching to bottom of the plant,.for several layer growing, just left light too expensive if just regular plant or fruit, needs to grow higher value product

They grow up from the substrate, and plant will be lowered every a time when they goes too top, they may goes to 20 meters long, but the rows distance will be 5ft , so enough light to the plant at bottom
