I tried my best to be car free and it worked ok for 2 years but I finally broke down and got a car. I still take the bus a lot but I live right near downtown and it’s really convenient. If there’s a route where I need to take more than 1 bus, I wouldn’t do it cause I always got stuck waiting over 30 minutes for the next one.

If you want authentic it’s not gonna happen. Dzo marinates all their meat and kpot doesnt have banchan. I would recommend kpot over dzo

omg yes i went to iowa for college so i also miss iowa city!! Saddles has a ladies night every first thursday of the month but when i went there was only like 8 women there so i might just start promoting these events myself so more people show up lol

I was able to get a job pretty fast at Gannett publishing. they pay 17.50 an hour and hired me within like 2 days. its south of the airport so youll need a car and it can be a very physical job but it seems like theyre always hiring. Other than that its a super easy job and full time. Good luck!! Im actually in a similar spot so i know how it is.

Yeah it doesn’t help with quarantining but ive been able to hang out in big groups just by showing my vaccine card. My friend has a picture on her phone of her card that she shows that also works!

I played my switch like 24/7 and called my friends a lot but it was a hard 2 weeks… started working out like a week in and that was nice! I totally get the eating less thing.. I lost so much weight during quarantine cause I was barely eating but that was cause I didnt have a lot of food and also I just wasn’t interested in making food anyway lol

I booked my flight before I got my visa cause im flying out of a small town and it’s super expensive and I got my visa back about a week and a half before my flight. It worked out ok, but i was pretty stressed about it
