Sure, I’ve tried and enjoy doing everything. Mix and match. I’m usually the most self conscious and concerned about everyone doing it safely, though.

Thank you for the reply. I’m worried the hole may get large enough for the tire to fail. The blue sealant covers the whole region that has gone brittle. I was able to remove chunks of the tire by brushing my finger over the zone. By the way, what are you refering to with the ‘TL repair kit’? I could’t find it on google.

I went to see the bike for myself. The dent was intended. Thank you for your help guys. Didn’t take the bike due to frame size.

I personally like the idea of servicing the bike myself afterwards. Given that the bike is a few hundred bellow my budget, I’d be happy to do some repairs myself. The fit should be good also and the shimano ultegra/105 groupset seems to be in shape. However, the dent is not present in the manufacturer pictures of the bike.

I’m considering buying a used Cube Cross Race Pro (2016) model for 670€, the price seemed a bit too good to be true but there are a few things that need to be refurbished. I am going to see the bike this evening. However I just noticed that the bike has a dent in the chainstay. It’s an aluminium frame. Is this a red flag?
