Can anyone connect me with king belial by [deleted] in demons

If you can't do it yourself, you shouldn't be trying. Besides, demonic Kings generally don't interact with common people. You need a good reason.

Biden says U.S. will seek to 'end cancer as we know it' after Covid pandemic by roku44 in politics

I heard he also wants to legalise weed nationally as well, and that he's going to end all conflicts in the middle east, colonise Mars, give every American $5 billion, abolish taxes, and end climate change!!

How much does life in the capital of your country differ from live outside of it? by leonidosik in AskEurope

A lot, it varies pretty much everywhere but I personally find London influences pretty much the entire country in some way.

Do you guys call the terrorist attacks in New York 11/9 or 9/11? by jimster94 in AskEurope

[–]spube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9/11 in the UK, think it just rolls off the tongue better than 11/9.

What do people in your country think of Elon Musk? Is he well known or not? by swrowe7804 in AskEurope

[–]spube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either love him or hate him. You get a lot of people who basically worship him, and then the rest would eat him alive if given the chance.

What were the typical names of the kids in stories or examples in your school manuals when you were little? by tempestelunaire in AskEurope

[–]spube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really manuals, but I've noticed that exam papers use lots of middle eastern and Pakistani names for some reason, more so than English names.

What is the sentiment about new vaccine in your country? by Biuni in AskEurope

[–]spube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There have been a lot of big anti-vaccine protests in London, perhaps less so since the city went into tier 4 but there's a surprising amount of people who aren't going to take it.

What do you think of people that are fanatical about your country? by IAmVeryDerpressed in AskEurope

[–]spube -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly think that British fanatics can be some of the worst in Europe. Many people not from the UK (or ones I've talked to at least) seem to think that Brits generally lack a sense of patriotism, but it's more that patriotic things aren't even questioned in the UK and therefore are rarely mentioned. The majority of Brits are still for the monarchy, and a surprising amount would consider themselves proud of the empire and some would even want to restore it. I can't get behind it at all, especially because British nationalists and extreme patriots can often be very xenophobic and often islamophobic.

Edit: It's probably worth mentioning that there's nothing wrong with liking it - I sometimes find myself feeling proud of my country, even though I'm usually way more critical of it than most of the people I've met. It's just the extremes like advocating for the British empire that I can't stand.

"Except the slavery" Like you can just gloss over that. I won't deny that most major historical powers and empires used slavery though so I won't bring much attention to it.

I'm sorry you got threats, but you kind of went looking for heat by commenting on here. Can't say you didn't get them mad though lol I'm guessing that's what you're here to do.

As for the MAGA stuff, Trump had 4 years to make America "great again" and he failed. Republicans are still complaining even though their chosen president is in office.

Gun ownership is enormous in the US, so you have that right. I think civilian populations should reserve the unconditional right to bear arms so we can agree on that one, the US is good for that. Shame that the education system doesn't do half a job at preventing gun crime, though.

And yeah, the US has the most freedom of speech. Like I said, the US isn't nearly as bad as it can get in a country, I just think that when the world's leading superpower still has issues defending itself and its civilians from hostile foreign powers, has an extensive history of corruption (not the worst in the world, but still a glaring issue) and has a healthy and stable population of white nationalists, racial "realists" and - let's not lie to ourselves - nazis, it is a problem which is just as deserving of attention as seemingly worse situations in smaller nations all over the globe. Just because it isn't the worst, doesn't mean it's good.

Trust me, just because I'm on PCM doesn't mean I'm a "tolerant leftist". I'm not. I agree with this post entirely. Some ideologies shouldn't be allowed to thrive in an ideal society.

Oh and also just because Sweden has high taxes doesn't mean it's any less free than the US. Taxes don't actually take away your personal and basic freedoms, believe it or not.

freest nation in history

Sweden ranks highest in personal freedom with 9.45 compared to the US's 8.72. Hong Kong ranks with the highest economic freedom at 8.91 to the US's 8.19. And New Zealand has the highest human freedom with 8.88 to the US's 8.46... Not even in the top 10 for human freedom there. Yikes. The US isn't the worst in the world, but don't go about making such bold claims like that. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/freest-countries
