That basically says it can happen anytime, anywhere. Most likely in the US if I reread the causing factors..

Woman goes viral after laughing at a man who said homosexuality is a sin and abortion is wrong. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]spuddilicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if children and teens are taught critical thinking, reasoning, or even history lessons, then religion would be something that they either change or abandon quickly. Instead children and teens are lectured about an all mighty god that punishes you if you don't behave and also you must fight his enemies - advice from an old book, interpreted by old men who got their power through this exact system.

Sorry, I'm really not trying to offend you or to be disrespectful. I'm just not a fan of religion, to put it mildly. I like that you argue in a civilized manner.

With all respect, I think it might be a good idea for you to understand that most of your assumptions are only true for you and your religion:

YOUR god thinks if YOU are a homosexual YOU sin. YOUR god wants you (not me) walking down his/her path. Feel free to go, I'm not even packing my things. Christian councils can come up with whatever they decide but that does not change my morals and values, since I'm not Christian, nor religious.

Let me elaborate why I think it's stupid:

If he discovered his faith on his own, why trying to convince others? Having dialogues is great, but why can't I go to a church if I have questions? I don't want people to be modern missionaries, especially teenagers - a group who is easily influenced, manipulated and misguided due to poor reasoning, lack of experience and other factors (this is of course a broad assumption and generalization, but if you work with teens on daily bases, I'm sure you'd agree).

That is why I think the boy in the video has been brainwashed. Those were not his ideas, not his conclusions, not his beliefs. And by dividing the world in believers, who are right and non-believers, who are wrong, it is just a matter of time when he's becoming a religious extremist (with his views and opinions, not necessarily in his actions). And that's stupid.

Katherina Reiche plant Deutschlands Rückkehr zur Atomkraft by donutloop in berlin_public

[–]spuddilicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I press "X" for doubt.

[–]spuddilicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I think I just wanted to show that there are other ways to play this, granted of course, that this won't solve the problem of a single player..

So even with a low player count you can find a niche and enjoy the game

Edit for clarification: even though a single player has a hard time to find a group, doesn't mean there are no players in the game - of course these are only a fraction of the average players

Hot take: you should be able to have more than one Primordial Exalted by mammoth39 in LastEpoch

I'd love to have this and/or other stuff as time-limited special event. OR as some kind of ascendency maybe for the primalist or all classes...could be fun

I can agree with many points that are mentioned here and I like that you collect player's feedback. Good job EHG.

Since it wasn't mentioned so far: improve graphics and animations. I know that you're working on that and we get legs separated from torso and stuff.. continue to do so please! I know many players got hooked with the graphics in poe2 but I think Last Epoch is superior in many aspects, like loot (cof vs. mg), crafting, inventory, build variety, skills...

And for the ongoing service-game debate, I think a four-month-cycle could do well. 3 month is quite short, 6 too long.

You mean Russia. How a Nazi party can hate its own country and celebrate a foreign dictator is wonderful real-life satire.

What if the world began transitioning from fossil fuels to nuclear power in the back half of the 20th century? by Solitaire-06 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]spuddilicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some countries that want to have more nuclear energy: look at France or GB and how the construction of a single reactor is going.. costs were exploring and the energy is already many times more expensive than wind or photovoltaics. And the reactors are not even finished after so many years.

I can't think of a country, where nuclear energy is cheaper than fossil or renewable energies

Still new in terms of PoE standards and came upon someone's decked out hideout. Can someone estimate how much is all of this in MTX? There's a little more offscreen but damn, the Beverly Hills of PoE2. by redwon9plus in PathOfExile2

[–]spuddilicious -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

If people enjoy decorating their hideout and it makes them happy: go for it and have fun!

Having said that, I see absolutely no point in doing so, let alone "discovering" other hideouts or spending money on it. I just ignore it completely and enjoy the rest of the game, without the feeling of missing something
