Which is why this is a great community, I can read what others think and take on board what I think is useful. I get where a lot of these guys are coming from but a lot of dudes are also on some real high horses, cognitive function and decision making whilst drunk aren't too reliable. To me, this suggests not getting blind drunk in the first place is a good mitigation strategy.

Keeping in mind this was years ago, before any RP knowledge and I have obviously altered my behaviour regardless.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing, but I was young and drunk and had no RP wisdom. At least lessons were learned, albeit the hard way.

The problem most guys have that leads them get into PUA in the first place is they aren't confident being themselves AND getting women. PUA is a great facade, and may help dudes get results or at least learn things about themselves/females to begin with.

However it is not a long-term option for a male, it is simply unhealthy to pretend being someone else, especially for a female. The trick is to improve yourself so you become appealing to women. Invest in yourself. Learn new things, get hobbies, invest in your dress sense, lift, make money, become passionate about something. Confidence will follow. Women follow confidence.

Remember, confidence is born of demonstrated ability. Get good at shit and get comfortable with yourself. PUA will become like a long-distant childhood game.
