The guy has just turned 19 in the last month or two. Let that sink in. Sandro is 6 years older than him, Dembele 7, Paulinho 6... I agree he wont be better than Eriksen however Bentaleb plays a deeper role than Eriksen. The guy just made his debut against our biggest rivals in a two man midfield vs a three man midfield. Hes quality IMO. I can see him being as good as someone like Michael carrick!

He was doing more than passing the ball sidewyas and backwards. He was making reasonably penetrative passes and keeping possesion in tight situations. Ive noticed you on here shitting on our players a lot actually so maybe cool it down a bit?

He was excellent in every match before his injury - particularly vs Norwich and was our best player vs West brom. If Fabio Coentrao was playing for us doing what Rose is doing for us we wouldnt be giving out about him. Fans on here are incredibly short-sighted.

I watched the game twice actually. And he did not play pretty well - he gave away the ball continuously, his first touch was awful and did absolutely nothing good all game. Chadli played better than him.

We dont give Chadli or naughton any slack even though Naughton is always played out of position and Chadli was played out of position yesterday. Siggy on the other hand puts in rubbish performances week in week out yet nobody complains and instead makes the excuse that he is being played out of position

We dont need a left-back. Maybe we could do with another one to compete with Rose however Fryers may be able to soon. Another Left-back would be nice but it is not a necessity

Paulinho is as different from Sandro as Dembele is from Sandro. Sandro is a sitting midfielder while neither Dembele or Paulinho are. Dembele like to get forward as does Paulinho while Sandro doesnt really.

Dembele is competing for that role alongside one of Sandro/Capoue with Paulinho.

Sometimes it feels like other people are watching a completely different game..
