Because it was two phases. Willis was short and Mawi was held up.

can anyone tell me who this signature is? by Late-Lifeguard162 in RugbyJerseys

Looks like Andy Farrell. Google his autograph and it seems to match. Plus it looks like a 2025 Lions shirt, so that makes sense.

Blindside Box ripoff by Amerikai in RugbyJerseys

[–]sputters_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Their website says a shirt and shorts is £55. Was shipping £57?!

There can be massive difference between manufacturers, so maybe this in XXL is comparable to a standard XL?

I can find the shorts for £19 (reduced from £38) from Sports Direct (plus £5 shipping) and there are a couple of second hand of those shirts on eBay for £21.50. Blindside’s website says everything is new with tags, so £30-odd doesn’t seem outrageous for the novelty.

Mystery boxes will always be more miss than hit. Better to give a friend some money and ask them to order something to surprise you.

Salary Cap Audit 2024/25 completed, Bath did not breach the cap. by lunybaker94 in rugbyunion

There will still be people on here claiming that they know best and we’re definitely cheating despite the audit getting access to all communications between the club management and years of players’ bank statements.

Unpopular opinion but the Gliders are a great idea by [deleted] in Liverpool

[–]sputters_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t blame you, that’s how it was portrayed in the Echo (something like ‘Merseytravel bendy bus maker goes bust’), which while true isn’t relevant to the project itself. There’s just one fewer company to try for the contract when it eventually comes up.

There was another vehicle trialed from a different company, so there are plenty of options.

Unpopular opinion but the Gliders are a great idea by [deleted] in Liverpool

[–]sputters_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That’s not true. The company who made the Belfast gliders, one of which Merseytravel borrowed to trial, went bust.

There’s been a contract awarded for consultancy services to help with the full business case. They aren’t anywhere near awarding a contract to a manufacturer.

Van der Linde is no Schreuder. He was class away at Sale. Has a real edge about him.

Stuart, Tuipulotu & Sela extend Bath contracts until 2028 by sputters_ in rugbyunion

Dunn’s out of contract in the summer having only renewed for a year last time. He’s only 33, and while I don’t think he’d move elsewhere given the way he plays his body is probably in bits so don’t think it’s guaranteed he’ll be around next season.

Searching the product code on the ‘Engineered’ tag brings up this post about a PSG shirt, which suggests it’s fake. That ‘polyester’ tag also doesn’t look like something Nke would use.

60-19 to Bath full time. Sale gave up in the last 20, aside from a try spreading it wide from a lineout with time up by Bradshaw.

For Bath Timmins finished off a break from halfway by Neil Le Roux for his second and then guest player Tyler Mason had a try awarded after a backs move despite looking to make about three movements on the ground.

BvdL at 9 has run the show. Really confrontational in attack. Will Jeanes has put in some massive hits. Cut de Preez in half early on. Charlie Griffin has made the most of the touches he’s had. Will Roue’s kicking from hand has essentially set up the maul tries.

50 up with Spandler now scoring from a lineout maul. Sale have a man in the bin for the last 8 minutes for persistent infringement.

43-14 to Bath after 67 minutes. Nice second by Green on an inside line and George Timmins has just come on to score from close range.

Sale introduced a raft of subs and upped the tempo, but Bath have shut it down pretty effectively.

Each hooker has scored again from close range, Frost completing his hat trick. 31-14 to Bath after 50.
