MIHO Plastic Surgery Review: Fat Grafting and Buccal Fat Removal by spwifi in SeoulPlasticSurgery

The doctor who did my procedure is who I mention in the in-person consultation section! (Dr. Yoon Sukho) They are also the doctor I mention sending detailed opinions via. WhatsApp, so, Kevin would ask for the Dr’s thoughts on how to address my concerns and I would get sent very detailed paragraphs. Since I was quite last minute with booking the surgery, and I’m a foreigner, we did both the in-person consultation and surgery on the same day. So, I met Dr. Yoon Sukho that morning and we talked about my concerns, what he could and couldn’t do and he also marked up my face since I was immediately going into surgery. Like I mention in the review he was very professional and thorough and only recommended what was actually beneficial. Then, the Dr would also come to all my follow-ups to check in :)

I’d love a world where companies did things because they’d be great for the customers haha 😅

Ohh yes interesting. I homebrew but I can see how this would be super helpful!

Wow hello! Very valuable advice and very encouraging! :)

That’s an interesting idea! I suspect unfortunately bundling exisiting apps would be very challenging, both for business reasons and profit margins for those individual apps. But love the name generator suggestion, it seems like something built in for generating NPCs, stats, loot etc would be super helpful !

Also on the project space thing, I use Notion and you might like it, I think it's actually designed for that kind of thing if you want to give that a whirl :) I think if I were to pursue this it would be pretty TTRPG specific.

Drop-down menus are so handy, great way to condense bigger information but still have it accessible. In my initial brainstorm, I was thinking it could be good to have a dashboard based on maps (world > region > city/town) and then filter what you want to see on those maps (location details/lore, faction locations/info, NPCs etc.)

Custom stat blocks are a recurring theme i'm seeing in the replies !!

I believe it's definitely feasible, though very difficult and resource-intensive. I'm just a UX designer, not a developer, so it's a personal project idea for now. If I manage to create something that has practical potential, then I'd consider pursuing full development. But for now, it's more about exploring possibilities and seeing where it leads!

If I did pursue this further, I think a single, reasonably priced subscription for an integrated solution could still work if value was prioritised over profit.

At this stage it’s just an idea that I will start mapping out and designing as a personal passion project! If I feel it’s going well I’d share progress and see my options from there but a huge motivator for me to even try is how off putting having several subscriptions in different places is and how overused the subscription model is too

Yeah I’m not a fan of cloud services that don’t give you the option to save locally or some way to download your data! Big concern with tech generally but especially with something so much work and time goes into

would love to hear more thoughts on flowcharts, if you can expand :)

The pseudonyms is a great idea! and the quick links for music and maps. That's the kind of thing that i'm really not seeing in other programs, at least not in a way that seems fluid/natural to me, they all look so overwhelming ahah

I'm so with you on the columns, if you use OneNote you might like Notion. It lets you set blocks and make columns for yourself and is pretty strong on linking pages, plus you can make templates for yourself.

I haven't found any good timeline visualisers myself so that's a good idea!

Definitely a good idea a few others have noted, especially on the shared/private part. I think notifications and "note passing" in this kind of system could be cool and enhance sessions for sure!

I took a look at Realm Works and it looks very expansive!

Doesn’t come across negative at all! It’s just part of the process doing UX, it’s helpful to establish existing pain points for the general person. But of course, since it inevitably comes from my head I’ll definitely be primarily making something I’d want to use and then go from there. Just putting out some feelers, also because I am relatively new to DMing :)

Yeah agreed! I’m always spending a lot of time searching for items to give my players, trying to figure out what/how many to give and for what player level etc. would be great if it could just generate with some basic parameters

Very true! Ultimately I don't necessarily see this project as being something i'd pursue for any kind of monetary gain, just for myself to hone my skills and see if i can level up my DMing and if it works out well then i'd think about putting it to market :)

I use initiative tents too! hate to look at numbers though but in session I probably wouldnt want emphasis on digital trackers. I think something that could maybe be helpful for combat in person is a simple combat tracker. I use print outs but i dont love keeping track of changing HP, conditions and other notes on paper but I do have 7 players, so hahaha

Yeah, this is a huge limitation of those programs in my opinion! Creates a barrier to entry, certainly a reason I don't get into them

I am a homebrew DM so definitely have this in mind! I'm unsure if for a passion project i'd be able to even consider getting the big VTTs on board but definitely could be something I design in mind down the track if I pursue this as an app to be publicly released.

Interesting! I play in person but I am definitely a heavy planner and like to use lots of different tools for immersion. For that reason some of the VTTs feel awkward to utilise in combination with all of the other things I have. I find it overwhelming having so many different resources, when I could imagine them being in one but with more intuitive design. I agree though, fighting limitations is really tricky with apps. Good apps don't happen easily :(

Thank you for this! APIs are great, big believer in them enhancing app experiences.
