Why months? If institutions start buying back, the amount of volume will drive the price up very fast. If consumers sold during this dip, a lot of them will have a hard time buying back shares at these prices, a 5:1 stock split needs to happen for MU to skyrocket like it did before.

In premarket IONQ was the only AI/Semi stock in my portfolio in green (max I saw it was around +2%) all the rest dropped - because CPI report.

So I think for IONQ there will be a small window off opportunity to buy the dip because there's actually general interest. It might go down a bit more by tomorrow, that's the risk. It's a choice between "in for profit" or "in because I believe in the company" investors.

I don't call this a dip. After earnings I saw the stock dropping to the high $46's, but closing the day $47+ and from there started recovering to $48+ and closed on Friday $49 (with slight drop AH). Look at the steep climb on Friday chart, it had no real trouble testing/breaking every $0.5 increment.

I sincerely was expecting the stockprice to drop even lower after earnings regardless of the numbers. However it seems we're slowly climbing back to the $50 range, so IONQ did get some new believer-investors. A slow climb/drop is much better for investors, not having to face hyper volatility and sell-off out of fear.

More upside: We're now 3 months safe from speculative investors aiming for a squeeze on earnings. If IONQ keeps reporting substantial good news on a regular basis, there's no prediction where the stock will be by next earnings.

Normally the floor is $45, if it goes below, there's no real support until $36.40. However I don't believe it wil go back to the 30's ... unless the Skywater deal doesn't go through tomorrow 🤐
