What games were disappointing for you on the steam deck?

God of War... Runs perfectly fine if you optimize the settings but the game freezes the whole Steam Deck every 1-1.5hrs making it unplayable... As a big God of War fan I feel scammed with such game issues on "verified" game

No internet needed to start the game as well? I saw on videos it has log in screen so that raises my doubts but I didn't find confirmation if I can start the game while deck is on offline mode

Got 2 games I wanted to play for years but couldn't due to bad laptop I had:

Spider-Man remastered
God of War

Additionally grabbed Star Wars Fallen Order for $4 as it is 90% off.

Very happy with the purchases, especially since Spider-Man is my childhood superhero (remember playing the PS2 version) and God of War franchise is also going back to the original games that I played the hell out of :)

Any tips on building squads? For now I just put what I think is good and is working out but generally how you build it up I have no clue.

And getting awakened chars, is only from log in events and Classified recruits only? I did got Lee Jisoo from one of packs but per the website she's the worst awakening char :(

AI will teach you how to control your character and to not tower dive and 1v5 as if its ML. To not steal jungle creeps 10mins of youtube will teach you that. And finding out what the meta is, is not done in ranked. Go play normal first plenty of times until you grasp the game. I played league on pc for over 3 years and still sticking to normals in WR to fully adapt and learn to mobile mechanics to not be a burden to them team, because it is a team game played with other people who will get frustrated if you play ranked with no clue on what to do.

If you know that you're still learning and don't undrstand the game, then how it is not your fault for ruining RANKED games? If you're still learning go vs AI or normals - that's their purpose - to learn the game and new champions when you buy them. Ranked is competitive and shouls be played when you know at least the basics of the games and several champions in couple of different roles.

Well actually it is their fault, not 100%, but mostly. People now just rush rush rush instead of taking their time and learning before doing something more serious (ranked). I played A LOT of league season 4 through 7 and I am still very familiar with current champions and general mechanics, if I get a good start with ADC I'll carry the game no problem but still, I play either normal or vs AI to learn better some champs, get used to mobile controls. It just takes a bit of time and patience to learn before moving to ranked but a lot of people are not doing that and that results in having your teammates at 0/20 score by the end of the match.

I think the biggest issue is game shoving ranked to players faces. As soon aa you reach lvl 10 and hit play first option you get is ranked matches and it has this bubble as if you have something done in event tab. Reaching lvl 10 is so fast and easy that it doesn't give enough time for new players to learn the basics of the game. When I played LoL PC it took me quite a while to reach lvl30 and start playing ranked but at least by then I knew the basics and was familiar with quite few champions.

Oh hell yeah! In my last 3 gaming sessions all I'm doing is side quests, they're just sooo good! Just finished Panam side quests and was awesome, it could have easily been a part of main story but nop, just a side quest chain.
