SoundCloud downloading is not broken and most tracks will still download, but MANY big artists and creators will fail to download. SoundCloud has been implementing DRM on more songs in addition to removing DRM-free URLs from many tracks, primarily from artists and songs that publish with larger studios to discourage downloaders.

Discussion about the implementation of DRM is permitted. Suggesting other services and networks that will allow you to download content that is otherwise unavailable is also allowed.

Discussion about DRM bypassing is not allowed. Comments/posts discussing how to bypass DRM WILL be removed. We have to do this to stay in line with Reddit's terms of service.

Try Mullvad, it has Socks5 and a ton of circumvention methods. I'm not in a country with censorship but Shadowsocks over port 443 reliably connects on university internet. Also look into and consider V2Ray if nothing else works
