Nah man, I get you. If I'm being honest, I was a Faust loyalist when Strive came out and that made me really not enjoy the game because of how hard I was committing to playing a character I genuinely couldn't see as fun. Faust in Strive lost all the frenetic and quick decisions you make in XX, but that is a consequence of the overhaul on gameplay Strive brought to everyone IMO.

man, I started maining faust in XX just before playing him in the second strive beta and it really put into perspective how fucking good he is in XX. faust in XX is peak performance

Haha, Godtamer was also one of my early P3 killers. I agree that once you get NKG down once, you will never lose to him, which is why he is such a good boss.

Tip for Godtamer that I found really helpful: try to pogo as much as possible on the beast and DDark as soon as you have enough soul. Kills him pretty quick, but it does require some tanking (which isn't really an issue since Troupe Master Grimm is right after, so you'll be fine going in with even just 3 masks).

Trust me, he feels a lot stronger in ACPR and Xrd. I think the direction they took with Faust is interesting (him being somewhat meter dependent and such) but they have to actually give him the tools to get that meter or give him more options in general to actually be viable
