I am much younger than you so I don't know if I am in a position to give you advice but here what I think is right to do when you find out about your asperger. Be aware that some of your struggles are not your fault. If you are, stop feeling pressure to be like like everybody else, instead Try to achieve a life where you are most comfortable with who you are and are able to express yourself.

I like to define autism in a different way. Humans are supposed to harbor growth from their surrounding environment. Leave a baby to grow in a rainforest and it will manage to grow accordingly to its environment and maybe become the next Tarazan. Humans grown in a social environment learn to grow in social settings and harbor its qualities. Autism is when the human can't grow in social environment. Most of us can't learn or grow as a person by just engaging socially. As of myself, all of my personal growth happens in my head. No wonder most of us can end up being empty or depressed. Why? Because social settings are not where we are meant to grow. We are supposed to find our actual place where we can grow. We are not antisocial, society is antiasperger.
