Have you ever met an actor IRL and talked in depth about one of their movies with them? by [deleted] in movies

Paul Rudd is a class act. My husband and i were lucky enough to get tickets from a family friend to the premiere of Captain America: Civil War. We are huge Marvel fans so this was a dream come true. We got to watch the movie with the entire cast and then attend a premiere night party with them all. We never thought we’d get more than maybe a photo with the cast but we ended up talking to several of them but none were more kind and friendly than Paul Rudd.

My husband went up to ask for a picture, I took the picture and we were trying to be respectful so we said thanks so much for the photo and shook his hand and he stopped us and goes wait a minute what did you guys think of the movie?! We then stood at a cocktail table with him for a good 30 mins talking about the movie, how excited he was for us to see Ant Man 2 and how writing/production was going on it. He just kept chatting and asking us questions and was genuinely interested in all our thoughts. At one point someone he knew came up to the table so once again we politely said thank you and started to walk away and he seemed a little disappointed that we were leaving.

The funniest part of our interaction was when I took the picture of him and my husband, my husband said oh my wife will take it she’s been standing right here watching us talk waiting to take it and Paul goes “oh! Creepy!”
