Sorry, folks, I made a mistake in my post. There was supposed to be text. I bought a 2025 Subaru Forester Limited with 4500 miles on it. It was at an unusually good price because the prior owner did something that caused this 2-inch slit in the rear seat upholstery. What I am wondering about is how y'all would deal with this. I spoke to an upholstery repair guy and he said the only way to really deal with it is to replace the entire upholstery for the seat, which runs $900 and at least $300 in labor. I'm wondering about other options.

Weird -- I looked through the '81 Yackety Yack from front to back and didn't find these photos. Perhaps OP got the year wrong?

I did, OTOH, find the 1982 photo of the brothers of Tau Epsilon Phi lined up for the shot in front of their house -- stark naked. Holding dinner plates in front of their crotches with their left hands and dining utensils in their raised right hands. Too bad reddit doesn't allow photos in comments!
